Did you know that pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the United States? With 4.8 million participants nationwide, pickleball has seen an increase of 39.3% in participation just over the last two years. The sports’ growing popularity is a testament to the ease and enjoyment it offers beginners and the excitement of the fast-paced competition it offers to more experienced players.
Consumer Cellular is proud to have USA Pickleball as our official partner! And this summer, we look forward to connecting with the pickleball community at upcoming events, including this summer’s Consumer Cellular USA Pickleball Newport Beach Championships, June 27 through July 2, at The Tennis Club at Newport Beach in California. All USA Pickleball members are welcome to register to participate or join us as a spectator to watch all of the pickleball action! The registration deadline to participate in the tournament is June 14.
To celebrate this event, we are giving away a total of 5 pickleball swag bags, including USA Pickleball paddles, Franklin X-40 balls, portable chargers, and cooling towels. Beginning on June 7, follow along with us on Facebook, where we will be asking questions about, you guessed it, pickleball! Provide your answer in the comments section on each post to be entered into the sweepstakes. Our favorite answer will be selected and announced the next day.
