Can anyone with Sprint change to CC on-line?

    • Hi Jo, thanks for your interest! Anyone is welcome to switch to our service using our online website. If you’re wanting to keep your number and phone, there are just a couple of things to keep in mind. If you’re wanting to keep your phone, you will want to make sure that the phone is unlocked from Sprint, is VoLTE capable, and GSM-compatible. We can’t guarantee compatibility for all models, but we’ll do all that we can to see if we can get this working on our network for you.

As long as the number remains active with the current provider during the transfer process, you can switch it over. We will also need the current account number, PIN number if there is one, billing address, and the account holder’s first and last name to submit to your current provider so that they will release the number to us so we would recommend having a bill readily available for this process.

Your info on switching sucks and Info on site about your program? I’m not even older and I am confused

    • Hi there, thanks for your post. I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’ve had with our website and we appreciate you taking the time to send us your feedback on our experience with it. At this time, I have sent this along to our technical team for moving forward with our website in the future. If you have any questions about the transfer process still, please feel free to give us a call at 800-686-4460 or you can also chat with us here for further assistance.

Can I keep my phone and number? How much for unlimited?

    • Hi Kathy, thanks for your interest! As long as the number remains active with the current provider during the transfer process, you can switch it over. We will also need the current account number, PIN number if there is one, billing address, and the account holder’s first and last name to submit to your current provider so that they will release the number to us so we would recommend having a bill readily available for this process.

Our Unlimited Plan, including talk, texting, and data, would be $60 a month plus tax. If you’d like, you can view all of our current plan options and their pricing by going to our website here. Just let us know if you have any further questions!

  5. Marie Gelsomino says

I just placed an order for your phone. Is the phone itself free, or just the first month? Will the phone be shipped to my address or will I have to pick it up at a Target store?

  6. Mary Alice Bisbee says

Can I use my current land line phone number on a new Android phone to add to my account? And how will the transfer be made with my land line provider?

    • Hi Mary, thanks for your question. You can definitely move your landline phone onto a cell phone. As long as the number remains active with the current provider during the transfer process, you can switch it over. We will also need the current account number, PIN number if there is one, billing address, and the account holder’s first and last name to submit to your current provider so that they will release the number to us so we would recommend having a bill readily available for this process.

  7. Charles Montgomery says

Just ordered my phone. Is there any way to learn my new phone number before I receive it?

    • Hi Charles, thanks for your question! When the phone ships out, an email is sent that will allow for you to access the account information including the cell phone number that will be assigned to that phone. Otherwise, give us a call at 888-548-6490 or chat with us here and we’d be happy to help with getting that information.

  8. Bob says

I already have an account and I would like to set up my sister with a phone. This Add a Line, says that we both would share text and data. Ours texts would be just to sent just to me and not shared to both of us right?

If I do this I would need to buy her a phone and that would come with her own phone number as well, right?

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Hi Bob, when it says that text and data would be shared, it’s referring to the usage. However, she wouldn’t be receiving texts sent to your number, or vice versa. Additionally, in order to use her own phone with our service, it will need to be a VoLTE-capable, unlocked, and GSM-compatible phone. Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee compatibility for all phone models, but our agents will do all they can to resolve any problems.

Otherwise, if she wants a new phone and a new number, that can be set up through your online account here.

What if I have time left on my att contract. ? I assume they will charge a fee for breaking it. Can I bring my iPhone 8 with me?

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Hi Evangeline, we recommend reaching out to AT&T to check if they have any early termination fees. Additionally, in order to use your own Apple iPhone with our service, it will need to be a VoLTE-capable, unlocked, and GSM-compatible model. Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee compatibility for all phone models, but we generally have good experiences with iPhones.

I am looking to transfer to another company from Page Plus. I want to keep my old phone which easily fits in my pocket and is extremely sturdy and even water proof. No other phone out there is acceptable for me. If you can’t accommodate me then I guess I will never continue cell service after this year. PS There are a lot of us out here and you should be interested in this market.

    • Hi CJ, thanks for your interest! If you want to keep using your existing phone, you will need to make sure that it’s unlocked from all providers, is GSM-compatible, and VoLTE capable. We can’t guarantee that all models will be compatible, but we’ll do all that we can to see if we can get it connected for you.

  11. Nancy says

I’m wanting to know when you will be getting any Galaxy note 10’s or 10 plus’s in please. I’ve been waiting for months now. Thank you in advance!

    • Hi Nancy, thanks for your question! Unfortunately, we don’t know if or when Samsung might send us more of that particular model of phone. If we do get more in, the first place they would be listed would be on our website though so I would recommend continuing to check back there to see if more have come in.
