    You can also purchase squaretrade protection plans directly from them, lasting 2 years. This is good for non-CC sold phones like iPhone or Samsung S3 or S4.

    I agreed to the Square Trade on my new phone, but it says it starts immediately even though I don’t have my phone yet. Shouldn’t the start date be when I receive and activate my phone? It’s only a few days so it’s not that big a deal, except for the timing. This means it’s started 2 days before the end of the billing cycle. Do they prorate or am I going to have to pay for a full month for those 2 days – even though during those 2 days I don’t have the phone? Thank you for your help on my concerns.
