I purchased from Consumer Cellular an IPhone 6s a few years ago and now I am having problems with it keeping a charge. I am wondering it is no longer getting Apple updates since it is an 6s. Is it worth bringing in to an Apple store to have a new battery installed ?

    reply to John

    • That’s a great question, John. At this point, the iPhone 6 isn’t going to receive the new iOS updates. So you can continue to use that phone if you’d like and get it replaced, but if you’re worried about the future and getting the updates for the network then I’d suggest the idea of looking to upgrade the phone instead.
