Get Fast LTE Speeds on Our Latest Android Smartphones

Our newest Android smartphones will assist you in ways you may have never imagined. Take for instance, the latest versions of some of our most popular Android smartphones — the Huawei Vision 3 LTE and Motorola Moto G LTE. They’re more versatile than ever. And, both offer a fast LTE connection.

The Huawei Vision 3 LTE features the fastest data speeds with a strong battery life that lasts up to 36 hours during mixed use (averaged based on calls made, apps used and other functions). Everything’s easier to view on the Vision 3’s now larger 5.0” LCD display.

If the Vision 3 happens to be your first smartphone, no worries because its popular EasyMode option will guide you. This option enables you to learn and use the phone without hassle using a simplified operating system you can turn on and off. The feature’s large, easy-to-read icons shows you how to scroll through and explore the phone’s features and apps. And, it’s easy to switch back to the standard Android operating system when you’re ready.

The Vision 3 is fast and capable with its 1.2GHz quad-core processor which runs Android™ 4.4 (Kit-Kat). Capture images with the versatility you need using either the 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with 6x digital zoom, the 2-megapixel front-facing camera or in 720p HD video. There’s 8GB of internal storage and up to 32GB available via an optional micro-SD card, too. Best of all, you can get yours for just $100.

We have another winner, too. The Motorola Moto G LTE smartphone is faster and more feature-packed than the two earlier generations of Moto G smartphones. It’s also one of the most affordable smartphones around. It runs on the latest Android™ 5.1 (Lollipop) operating system and includes a vibrant 5” touchscreen display. If you’re already accustomed to smartphones, but are looking for an upgrade, this device may be for you.

You’ll have fun capturing and viewing photos on the Moto G LTE with its 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Shooting HD video in 1080p is just as easy with the phone’s auto focus and 4x digital zoom. With 8GB of internal storage and support for up to 32GB of micro-SD storage, you’ll have plenty of space to store those memories.

This smartphone is equipped with a fast 1.4GHz quad-core processor and a mixed usage battery life of up to 24 hours, making it a true workhorse. It keeps up with a variety of multi-tasking needs simultaneously, such as web browsing, emailing or texting. Before you know it, you’ll be easily navigating from app to app by habit.

To get your Moto G LTE, just call us or order one on our website. You can also find yours for just $150 at Target or Sears stores nationwide.

You won’t miss your old phones when you select either of these options. You’ll be too busy getting to know all the great features at your fingertips.

  1. Will your system take Verizon iPhones?

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Great question! We do have some customers who have been able to use an iPhone 5s or higher from Verizon, but we can’t guarantee that it will work without trying our SIM card with your phone. You can find our SIM cards at your local Target or Sears store, or you can give us a call at 888-345-5509 and we can send one to you. Thank you for asking!

Ordered two phones, problems >Line #1 phone, Two hours on line and 1+++hour setup of phone and 5 representatives and two supervisors and two wrong phones shipped and received and I have to wait for a third phone now. Line #2 phone worked from get go. Line #1 phone, Supervisors supervisor offered no help. Sad to see a company with such praise, lack a system to fix their own errors and leave customers hanging. It is sad to be that 1 in a thousand.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

We certainly apologize for the frustration, James. I was able to take a look at your account, and I see that Tammy and Haidy from our customer support team have been working with you to get this resolved this morning. If there is anything else we can do at this time to help you, please don’t hesitate to give us a call at 888-345-5509. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us, and we appreciate your patience while we get this fixed.

  5. Don says

Does the moto e lte phone operate on 3g and when 4g is not available in the area?

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Great question, Don. Your Moto E LTE will use a 4G LTE signal where available, but when you are in an area without LTE coverage, it will use the 3G signal. If we can answer any other questions you may have, feel free to call us at 888-345-5509. Thank you for posting today!

  6. Seth says

Would you please offer higher-end Android devices? I’d appreciate an Android phone with 2GB RAM (or higher) and a camera with Optical Image Stabilization for clear, low-light photography. Examples would be the Samsung Galaxy S6, HTC One A9, or Huawei P8.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for your suggestion, Seth. We do our best to provide a wide range of devices, but know that our phones might not fit everyone’s needs. That’s why we have our SIM card option. In most cases, it works well with any unlocked GSM phone. You can find them on our website here, at your local Target or Sears store or we can help you order one over the phone at 888-345-5509. We have many customers who use this option so they can have the exact phone that they want. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us, and for taking the time to post today!

      • Jan says

        Hi,

I too am interested in upgrading my current Moto G that I bought from Consumer Cellular, with the new Motorola Moto G LTE (3rd Gen.) with 16GB of internal storage instead of 8GB. Can Consumer Cellular make that happen?

        • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

We can absolutely make that happen, Jan! All you need is one of our SIM cards to use with an unlocked GSM version of the Moto G LTE. Once you have those in hand, just give us a call and we can help you make the switch. Our SIM cards can be found here on our website and at your local Target and Sears stores. We can’t promise that every feature of our service will work with a phone that isn’t purchased from us, but we’re happy to try! If we can answer any questions you may have, please give us a call at 888-345-5509. Thank you for commenting and we look forward to assisting you!

Is there any chance you all will be adding an Android phone with a physical QWERTY keyboard? I was all set to get the Samsung S Relay when it was dropped from the offered lines, and I’ve been holding off getting another phone on the off-chance you might add a different QWERTY keyboard phone!

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for asking, Annie. At this time, we don’t offer any phones with at QWERTY keyboard, but if that should change, we will be sure to let you know. If there is a model in particular you like that meets your needs, our SIM cards can often be used with an unlocked GSM version. We’re happy to talk to you about our SIM cards and how you can use them at 888-345-5509. We hope you have a great day, and thank you again for taking the time to reach out to us!

  9. Doug says

I have been a very pleased with your service, people and devices for years. The best in the business. I just traded my old WX345 for the Envoy. Big mistake. My old phone battery will last 7 plus days with no or very little use. The envoy won’t last three days. . What’s up? Your ad says it will last well over a week on stand by. Not even close. I am VERY UNHAPPY with that. THANKS

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

We’re sorry to hear that, Doug. The standby time listed can vary depending on your use. Try turning off Bluetooth when you aren’t using it as it can reduce your battery life. We’re happy to help you troubleshoot the issue further if you like. Also, with our Risk Free Guarantee, you may be able to return that phone and try a different option if you like. Please give us a call at 888-345-5509, and we can discuss the option that will work best for your needs. Thank you for reaching out to us today!

  10. Lynne says

My husband’s Motorola Moto G 1st gen just died (we have the same phone and mine is still healthy). We just ordered the Moto G 3rd Gen LTE, but we had to compromise because Consumer Cellular offers only the 8GB storage/1GB RAM version. Please consider for the very very near future offering both the 8GB and 16GB versions. I did not feel comfortable ordering from a 3rd party. We really like Consumer Cellular service and plans and have been extremely happy with our 1st Gen Moto G’s. But we now would like to have 16GB in the newest model of the Moto G. Also, are you ever considering offering the Motorola Moto X models?

The Moto G is a great phone for the price, which is why we are staying with this model….but PLEASE give us 16GB!!!

    Thanks!

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for posting, Lynne. While we don’t currently offer the 16GB version of the Moto G or the Moto X, you can use unlocked versions of these phones with our SIM card. Many of our customers prefer this option so that they can have the exact phone that works best for them. Just purchase the unlocked GSM version, then purchase one of our SIM cards from your local Target or Sears or here on our website. We’ll even give you a $10 credit so the SIM card is free! While we can’t guarantee that every phone will work with our service, many of our customers use the various Motorola options. If you have any questions about using our SIM card, feel free to give us a call at 888-345-5509 and we’ll be happy to answer them. We appreciate you taking the time to post, and we look forward to helping you get your new phone ready to go!

  11. Ken says

Hello, I am very interested in the new Moto G 3rd gen phone in the 16gb, 2gb ram version. I know you don’t carry that phone , only the 8gb but I can get it directly from Motorola at it’s website. Will that work?

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for asking, Ken. In general, the unlocked GSM version of the Moto G 3rd generation works well with our service. The best way to know for sure is to test it with our SIM card. We can get one on the way to you if you call us at 888-345-5509, or you can find one at your local Target or Sears store. Then just follow the instructions and we’ll help you get your new phone ready to go. We appreciate your question and look forward to assisting you!

  12. Duane Williams says

I believe you run on AT&T’s network. Is LTE data throttled, as it is on Cricket Wireless (a subsidiary of AT&T)? What are the typical download/upload speeds on Consumer Cellular?

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Good question, Duane! Our customers experience typical LTE download and upload speeds, and we don’t reduce speed unless you have exceeded your plan limits. With our Usage Alerts, we’ll let you know ahead of time so you’re never surprised. We’re happy to answer any other questions you may have at [email protected] or over the phone at 888-345-5509. Thank you for posting, and we hope you have a great day!

  13. LACY STARK says

Will you offer the moto G phone in the future or has that phone discontinued?

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Great question, Lacy. At the moment, we are offering the Moto G LTE (also known as the Moto G 3rd Generation), and don’t currently have the previous generations available. You can learn more about the Moto G LTE here on our website, or we’re happy to answer any questions you may have at 888-345-5509. It’s a great smartphone at an affordable price, and we’re sure you would find it a good fit. Thank you for commenting!

  14. Frank Kizer says

    Hi,
I have an unlicked Galaxy ACE 4 LTE. Will that work on the CS LTE network?

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for asking, Frank! In general, GSM phones work best with our service, such as those used previously with AT&T or T-Mobile. We recommend trying our SIM card with your phone, which will let you know for sure whether or not it’s a good fit. Best of all, there is little risk involved as we’ll give you a $10 credit when you purchase the SIM card. That way it is free of charge! You can find our SIM card here on our site, or at your local Target or Sears store. If we can answer any questions for you about our plans or coverage, please call us at 888-345-5509. We’ll be happy to help! We appreciate you taking the time to post, and we hope you have a great day!
