I have roadside assistance but can not get through. I’m getting a rapid busy signal.

      • Hi Tonya, thanks for your post. I would make sure that you’re getting a good signal when you’re making that call, and try powering the phone off and on before trying to dial them again. Make sure you’re dialing their number, (855) 520-3766, before trying again.

  2. Jill says

How do I cancel roadside assist for both phones on my account

    • Hi Jill, thanks for your post. At this time, I have gone ahead and removed the roadside assistance for both lines for you to avoid the hold time on the phone or on our chat platform. Since we bill in arrears, it will be listed on one more invoice before it falls off completely. If you have any questions, just let us know!

I SIGNED UP FOR My Consumer Celular.com/Roadside Assistance last year do i need to sign up yearly or am i still on the plan?

  12. ED SCHELLIIN says

I have one account with lines for both my wife and myself, 3 cars, a motorcycle and moped. Will all my vehicles be covered and what would the cost be?

    • Hi Ed, great questions! The roadside assistance is $3 per line that is added on, so for example, if you wanted it added for both you and your wife it would be an additional $6 a month. I would just advise though that our coverage doesn’t cover motorcycles or mopeds, it would just be the cars.

If I need a tow over 10 miles what happens?

      • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

That’s a great question, Melanie. If you need to be towed more than 10 miles away, there may be additional charges. I recommend giving them a call at the number listed on the card provided with your roadside assistance information.

  17. frank says

question okay if i sign up both of my consumer phone lines at 3 bucks a line , does each phone get 3 service call per year for road side service or is it limited to 3 service calls per consumer celluar account ?

Hi Frank, if you sign up each line, each line will have 3 service calls per year.

  18. Jennifer Schmittling says

Does the road side assistance cover the vehicle that I am a passenger in? The vehicle does not belong to me.

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Great question, Jennifer. Roadside Assistance is based on your cell phone number, rather than a vehicle, so you can us it if you’re a passenger.

  19. Tommy Clark says

When you call Signature Roadside Assistance at (855) 520-3766 to ask for help what do I need to provide them to identify myself?

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Hi Tommy, all you’ll need is your account number, which would be the Consumer Cellular cell phone number that has Roadside Assistance active.

  20. Keith says

How does your roadside service compare to AARP and AAA? Can you send me a link to the comparisons?

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for posting, Keith. Our Roadside Assistance service is through Allstate. Everything that is included can be found here.

  21. Ruthann says

Please tell me where to find this info that your Signature link does not have:

    1. Are rural areas included, or is there service only in metropolitan areas?
    2. Are there any areas in the U.S. that are NOT covered by your Signature Roadside Assistance?
    3. Are pickups, RV vehicles, and 1-ton pickups/vans with dual rear wheels included or excluded in Signature Roadside Assistance?

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Great questions, Ruthann. The terms for Roadside Assistance can be found in the link at the top of the post, but you can also directly go to it here. Any exclusions will be detailed.

  22. ToniD says

Hi. I actually forgot I had Roadside assistance because thankfully I had not needed it. But in April my husband had to call a tow truck for my vehicle. I was looking over my services with Consumer Cellular the other day and realized I had still had Roadside. Can I submit a bill from 4/26 and get reimbursed?

  23. mike Dimock says

if I have your roadside service on my cc acct. and my wife who does not have a cc acct. is driving and gets a flat tire, can she use my cc acct. to get roadside service even though I’m not there with her?

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Hi Mike, that’s a great question. The Roadside Assistance service is linked to your cell phone, so she would need to have your cell with her if that’s the one with the service on it.

  24. Beverley Jones says

I tried to call roadside assistance and got no response. Is there another number to call instead of the Consumer Cellular number? It’s very disappointing to call for help and get none. Please supply phone number.

    Thank you.

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

I apologize for the frustration, Beverley. You can reach Roadside Assistance at 855-520-3766. If you’re having any trouble, I recommend giving us a call at 888-345-5509 or chatting with us here.

  25. David DeWitt says

How can you actually get the service. I have it but there is no way to contact anyone. My keys are locked in my car

  26. Sherry Lacey says

Could I get a new packet with the information? I have the roadside service, but can’t find the original packet. Thank you ever so much.

  27. Cynthia says

I have your roadside service I was told could be used 3 times a year. I was wondering is that Jan to end of Dec or is customers year start when they signed up for service?

    • Great question, Cynthia. The way it works is that a claim will be made on a specific date, it will then remain on the account for exactly one year and then falls off. The year would start from whenever that service was started.

  28. Cynthia says

Ok so I’ve used this service twice since September this means I have one tow left till September of next year is that correct?

  29. Kenyotta Williams says

do you contract or do allstate have there own drivers

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Great question, Kenyotta. Since roadside assistance is managed by Allstate, I recommend reaching out to them to see how drivers are selected.
