THE VERVE SNAP: ACCESSIBLE AND INTUITIVE

Designed with simplicity in mind, Consumer Cellular’s Verve Snap puts total convenience and familiarity in your pocket. Display features include a 2.8” main display screen and a 1.77” external screen. These dual displays allow you to see who’s calling before you pick up.

With a legible, backlit 12-key keypad, the Verve Snap is a low-profile cell phone that provides you with everything essential to stay in contact with those closest to you. Including a 5MP camera, 9x digital zoom and 720p video recording capabilities, the Verve Snap brings share-worthy pictures and videos to your fingertips.

The Verve Snap is equipped with the Android 10 Operating System and a Qualcomm QM 215 Processor. Plus, you get 8GB of onboard memory and can expand up to 32GB with a microSD card (sold separately). This comes in handy with the Verve Snap’s built in MP3 music player, allowing you to store and play all of your favorite songs. The Verve Snap can connect to Bluetooth for wireless audio, GPS features, and connectivity to our powerful 4G Network for crystal clear calling.

The Verve Snap comes with a 1600mAh capacity battery, which enables it to operate up to 15 hours of mixed-use time, and 16 days of standby time. Don’t fuss with plugging in your phone, with the new USB-C cable there’s no getting it wrong. Add the drop-in charging cradle (sold separately) to always be ready for a call.

When it comes to accessibility, the Verve Snap caters to all, including features like subtitles and captions, favorites key and quick text responses. Additionally, it comes equipped with real-time-text (RTT), color management, as well as hearing aid compatibility. Of course, the beauty of the Verve Snap’s compact, lightweight design—weighing in at 4.67 ounces—is that you can tuck your phone away and get on with your day, without missing a beat.

Consumer Cellular’s Verve Snap can be purchased using our TradeUp program, including interest-free EasyPay financing. Pay just $14 down, then pay the remaining balance in $2 installments, added to your wireless bill each month for 24 months. Remember, with EasyPay, your purchase comes with 0% interest.

Hi, we’re trying to transfer service from one galaxy to another, and can’t figure out how to do it. Can you help?

  2. Paul says

Your service is adequate but what makes me crazy is when trying to pay your bill, I can not schedule a specific date for the payment to go thru. Almost all the other companies I deal with allow you to do that.

  3. Deborah Yundt says

I’m interested in the Verve Snap. I would like to know what applications can be used to text. Does it have talk to text or manuel predative text.

    • Great questions, Deborah! Thanks for taking the time to ask. The Verve Snap doesn’t have the talk-to-text option, but it does have some predictive text options if T12 (Abc, ABC, or abc) is enabled for the keyboard. You’ll see the word at the bottom of the screen that can be selected, along with other potential words the phone will think you’re looking for.

  4. Terri says

Good Morning… I just purchased the Verve Snap for my Mom… I read it has a “Add the drop-in charging cradle (sold separately) to always be ready for a call.”… that statement was on the box and various places in ads… With all that said, neither Target I went to had it, they told me to go online and get it on the CC site… I can’t find it there either. Checked Amazon as well…
Any idea if this is available and if so where?
    Thanks

    • Hi Terri, great question! I’d be happy to look into that for you. Pulling up our website, we do have the charging dock available for the phone. What you will want to do is go to your mother’s online account which you can access here. Once you are logged in, scroll down to the phone, and to the right of it, click on the three horizontal lines and then click on purchase accessory. Otherwise, you can also give us a call at 800-686-4460 and we would be happy to help place that order for it as well.

  5. Judi says

I do not see my AARP Card listed on line in my Bill.

  6. Je says

There is NO documentation, either on the CC website or in the Verve Snap User Guide, indicating WHICH 4G LTE bands this phone is capable of using. CC won’t sell this phone to me unless CC is forthcoming about ALL specifications for this phone.

we got two phone from youns and hinge on both phones broke now youns me to pay over $60 for a phone this is not our fault its your phone

    • Hi Larry, I’m sorry to hear about the trouble that’s going on with the phone. Unfortunately, a hinge breaking on the device does count as physical damage to the device which voids out the warranty or the option to return it for a refund. However, if you have a protection plan active for the account, we can use that to replace the phone. To check into that more, give us a call at 888-548-6490 or chat with one of our live agents on our website here to follow up.

  8. Marcie says

This Verve Snap is not good 2 text on! It works then you can’t get texts like you want to say–is just aggravating–wish I had NEVER got it!

    • That’s definitely frustrating, Marcie. I’m sorry to hear about the trouble happening with that. We’d like to look into that and see if we can get that up and running for you. Give us a call at 800-686-4460 from a different line or chat with a live agent on our website here to follow up.

  9. Millie says

Can I transfer the phone number from my land line. I’d like to drop my landline but the phone # is on my business cards.

    • Thanks for your interest in our service, Millie! As long as your landline number remains active through the transfer process, we can move it over to our service. We will also need the current account number, PIN number if there is one, billing address, and the account holder’s first and last name to submit to your current provider so that they will release the number to us so we would recommend having a bill readily available for this process.

Is there any way to lock the volume buttons? My mom frequently lowers the volume or mutes the ringtone by accident just holding the phone.

    • Great question, Al. There isn’t a way to lock the volume buttons on the phone. An option available to look into might be something like Bluetooth so she doesn’t have to hold the phone so the buttons aren’t an issue, or using the speakerphone may also be a good option for her in these cases.

  11. Harry Newhard says

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

I just bought a new verve snap and learned that there is no youtube totorial videos available. Just wondering when one will be available?

  18. Ray says

the Verve Snap costs $39.99 from Target Consumer Cellular online, while it costs $62.00 from Consumer Cellular online,… whats the catch?

    Thanks, Ray

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Hi Ray, thanks for the great question. Our retail partners are able to dictate the prices of the devices they sell for our service, so it is not unusual for some prices to be different than if purchased directly from us.

  19. Ronnie says

Does the verve have a calendar you can put appointments in? Also does the verve have an fm radio? Thanx.

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for the question, Ronnie. The Verve Snap does come with a calendar where you can set up appointments, and an FM radio.

  20. Karen Duggen says

Can this phone be used with an existing AT&T account?

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for the question, Karen. Our phones are locked to our service, so they cannot be purchased for use with another carrier.

  21. Peggy says

Have been using Consumer Cellular service for a number of years however in past months have been having issues with service while at home. CC Rep said it had something to do with towers and to switch to a SIM card for AT&T. Meanwhile the Verve Snap came out and I purchased it online from Target. If I go to Target what SIM card should I purchase for my new phone?

    • Hi Peggy, thanks for your question! The new Verve Snap will actually have an eSIM that will just need to be activated once you receive the phone. You won’t need to purchase an additional SIM card. You will want to just either give us a call at 888-548-6490 or chat with one of our live agents on our website here once you receive the phone and we can help get that up and running for you.

  22. Juliane says

I just purchased the new Verve Snap to replace my Link II. One of the pamphlets that comes with the phone says there is an FM radio. My new phone does not have one like the old one did.
This is a disappointment as I enjoyed the radio on the Link II.

  23. Chris says

I am a consumer cellular customer and wanted to buy this for my 10 yr old just for calling and so I can locate him with my phone (gps) the only thing I see under specs is gps features, will I be able to locate the phone with Google family link or some other manor?
    Thanks

    • Hi Chris, great questions. The location option for the Verve Snap is very basic, in the cases that it can be used to share it with things such as Google Maps. We can’t guarantee compatibility with other apps but you can definitely try it with them!

  24. RICHARD HOGEBOOM says

When I make a call using my verve snap I can hear the person I call but they cannot hear me. Why?

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Great question, Richard. While on a call, I recommend checking to make sure that your phone isn’t muted by accident. If your phone isn’t muted but callers still can’t hear you, please give us a call at 888-345-5509 or chat with us here and we’ll be happy to help get that resolved.

  25. Warren says

The contact use on this phone is very hard to figure out. Was trying to help my 90 year old FIlaw figure then out. It only shows the last one dialed. You can put them in favorites but the ones that aren’t there can’t be found easily. It is POORLY designed. I would get a different phone!

    • Hi Warren, thanks for taking the time to post. We appreciate your feedback on this and have passed it along internally for going forward. If assistance is still needed with the phone, we’d also be happy to help with any questions or concerns he may have. Have him give us a call at 888-548-6490 or chat with us on our website here to follow up.

  26. Warren says

After making a call to support (chat was during the day, but unavailable – the above link didn’t work) we figured it out. The manual and online help BOTH need to stress the importance of the clr/back arrow. The inadequate software of the phone DOESN’T reset when the red END button is pressed. When the contacts … button is pressed the next time, it comes back to wherever you were last. You then have to hit the back arrow to get to the top menu. I still think this is too complicated, it should reset each time. The .pdf manual is written as if it assumes you are at the top level. This is a problem since even the person on the help call said you could get “stuck” and might need to power cycle the phone, so it sounds like this is a common problem.

  27. Lisa says

Does Verb Snap has a speed dial function?

    • Hi Lisa, that’s a great question! The Verve Snap does have a speed dial function! If you need any help setting it up, give us a call at 888-548-6490 or chat with us here on our website and we’d be happy to walk you through that.

  28. Charles says

I cannot find any keyboard options to turn on predictive text. The “Language & Input” menu option only gives 3 language options and no other input options.

  29. Ken M. says
