Share Connections & Add Family for Just $15/Month

Adding lines to your Consumer Cellular account is a convenient and affordable way to create wireless savings for the whole family. It’s just $15 a month per additional line, and every line on your account can share the minutes, texts, and data on your Talk and Connect plans. Calls between phones on your account are free, and you eliminate the cost and hassle of keeping track of multiple cellphone accounts.

While it’s always been a great deal at just $15 per line, creating a family plan with Consumer Cellular has become even more cost effective with the most recent upgrades to our no-contract monthly plans. Talk plans offer unlimited minutes for just $20 a month, and we’ve doubled the data on nearly all of our Connect plans without raising any prices. You can now enjoy up to 20GB of data per month, and all data plans include unlimited texting.

Plus, don’t forget about the flexibility! We know that your needs can change from month to month, which is why you can change your plan anytime, and as often as you need to, without paying any additional fees for switching. That way, you make sure you always have what you really need, and pay the best possible rate for it.

You can even add a line to convert your landline to cellular service using our Wireless Home Phone Base. Cut the cord, and have all your telephone service combined into a single, affordable, and easy-to-use wireless account. You can even use an extra line for our ZTE Mobile Hotspot, the handy, portable device that lets you share your cellular data by creating an Internet access hub for up to 10 other devices.

Share more connections for less! Create a Consumer Cellular family plan, or add handy new devices to your account—and start saving today! It’s easy to do: just log into My Account and click on “Add A Line”, or contact customer service at (888) 345-5510. We’ll be delighted to help you introduce your family to our family.

I’m hoping that Consumer Cellular would add the Caller ID feature. Without Caller ID, nobody would want to answers any call these days.

I am with you on this matter. I am thinking of switching to another carrier from Consumer Cellular because of the lack of caller ID call waiting features without the name. I avoid answering lots of call without names and have missed very important calls because of this. Consumer Cellular refused to entertain to my concern.

      reply to M

      • Hi M A O, I completely understand that concern. Because Consumer Cellular is a reseller, we have very little that we can customize in terms of caller ID. The feature that we do offer is designed to show whatever the landline companies or cell phone companies have on file for that contact. I apologize for the trouble that this has caused and will send the concern on to be reviewed further. If you have any further questions about this, please feel free to give us a call at 800-686-4460 or you can also chat with a live agent here: here.

  5. JD says

If I get a 2 phone plan, I assume each phone has to have its own separate number, is that true?

Is there a charge for consumer cellular to give me phone numbers for my phones?

If my chosen plan has for example, 250 min. per mo. or 2 GB per mo., is that the amount for each of the phones on the plan?

Are minutes used up while browsing the web or sending emails?

    reply to JD

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Hi JD, we appreciate your interest in our service. If you have two lines of service on your account, they both would have separate numbers and there is no charge for us to assign numbers to the new lines. Additionally, all services are shared between all lines on the account by default, so they would share minutes, texting, and data. If you would like them to have their own specific plan, then you can request the rate plans to be separated when speaking with an agent. Minutes are only used when making calls, whereas data is used when you are browsing the web or sending emails.
