Hello! Pat, here, from Customer Service, to tell you about a wonderful free Android app that can help you save time and, in some cases, money. I’m talking about our free My Consumer Cellular App. This special smartphone app is designed to give you a quick and easy way to manage your account while on the go.
For example, using this app you can keep track of your usage, including voice, text, and data. You can avoid overage fees—and save money—by using the app to respond immediately to a Usage Alert. As you might recall, a Usage Alert always recommends a money-saving plan, and you can perform this upgrade directly from your smartphone. Additionally, the My Consumer Cellular app enables you to pay your cell phone bill via your smartphone, as well as access your AARP card.
Many of our smartphones come pre-loaded with this custom application. However, if the app is not listed on your phone you will need to download it.

How about a My CC app for Windows Phone? I’ve searched the Windows Phone store but came up empty. If you haven’t built one for Windows yet, is it perhaps in the works?

Just purchased the Consumer Cellular service for my Lumina 830 Windows phone and can not find the My CC App., how can I download the My CC App for my Lumina Windows Phone?

Why ?? is there no app for Windows?
Great question, Lee. At this point, we haven’t offered a Windows phone, which is why we haven’t created an app for it. We do understand that more of our customers are using their SIM cards with the phone of their choice, including customers with Windows phones. Like the idea of the app, but it shows my data usage is more than twice what my online account access shows. Also, this usage is shown in Orange, if that makes any difference.

I love Consumer Cellular, but the data and voice usage from the CC app is always significantly over the real usage as reflected on the CC website. I have a Moto G ext purchased from CC.
