        This phone is different than my last phone which is a Huaweii smartphone. I had to call customer service because the phone was not ringing. After three calls the issue was resolved by a simple setting on my phone, set volume to highest setting, than on screen touch ‘all’. It was set on ‘priority’. When set on ‘priority’ the ring will not sound just goes to ‘dismiss or answer’. I’m sure this will help any new AlcTel pop 3 (5.5″) LTE customers.

    Received mine last week and am very happy with this new Alcatel Pop 3 smartphone. The customer service via Consumer Cellular was, as usual, outstanding–activation was presenting issues–and “all is well” since my call to CC. The phone is somewhat larger than I expected but it is so much easier to text with (big and old fingers!). I wanted an alert light…and have it with this phone. It is a winner (so far…)! I highly recommend this Alcatel Pop smartphone.

    With Moto G Ext, which we actually bought via Consumer Cellular at Target one year ago, where in the Android do we go to find the “background data restrict” setting?

        Ashley, THANK YOU, we accidentally removed “Restrict Background Data” from my wife’s phone. It has in our opinion allowed us to get a lot better value from our phones, but I was going crazy trying to find where to restore RBD. Yes, Consumer Cellular collects less data usage service charge, but it makes us much, much more satisfied customers!

    I now have my 2nd Alcatel Pop 3 LTE phone with what appears to be a non-functional camera. This camera only allows me to take selfies; trying to use the phone to take normal pictures simply doesn’t work.
