  1. Jaime says

When is Consumer Cellular going to reach out to the flood victims in Louisiana and offer credit for disrupted service, as AT&T has done?

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for posting, Jaime. Our hearts go out to any of our customers affected by the floods in Louisiana. As always, we’re happy to discuss any coverage issues or problems that have occurred with our customers. If you or someone you know has had problems with their service, we invite you to give us a call at 888-345-5509 so we can look at options to stay connected. We appreciate you posting about this topic!

  2. Tom Damanski says

    Do you have roaming charges?

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

We appreciate you asking, Tom! With our nationwide service, you’ll never pay roaming charges or long-distance fees for calls made within the United States. Thanks for posting!

  3. robert maher says

Something that would be nice if you can do it would be to have the Bill sort the numbers and let you know how many of them are from the same number, I can do this on my visa card and sort sales, so maybe you can let me auto sort the numbers buy putting all the same number in a block together. It would be nice to see how much time and messages are to the same person, now its just in order of calls and texts. Just a nice thing I think.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for the suggestion, Robert! We’re always looking to make our My Account experience even better for our customers, so I’ve passed your idea for a sort function on to our site development team. Thank you so much for taking the time to share it with us, and we hope you have a great day!

  4. Keven Sandquist says

How about letting customers roll over unused monthly data? It would make CC a better company and more competitive product. As it is now the customer buys the data and what is not used goes back into CC pocket. I have sent this comment to your service group before with no response.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for the suggestion, Keven! We find that many of our customers use our flexible plans to avoid any unused data. Since you can change your plan up until the last date of your billing cycle, you may be able to switch to a lower plan and save money. As for rolling over data, I’m happy to pass that on to our management team. We’re always looking to improve our plans, and feedback like yours helps us develop plans that fit the unique needs of our customers. We appreciate you taking the time to post, and we hope you have a great day!

          • Ellen Peck says

Please bring Connie and Jack back. Love them, and why were they replaced in the first place?

What is the name of the town where you do the filming for your commercial? Also will we ever see Connie and Jack again. I miss them.

Thanks for asking, Trely. Our commercials are filmed in various areas, including Oregon and California. We love Connie and Jack, and we also love the new faces we’re featuring in our latest commercials as well. We appreciate your feedback, and we hope you have a great day!

  6. Mary says

Why don’t you have a tab that takes you to the phones and products? It is very annoying to not be able to get to products from the main page once you become a customer. Even if we don’t buy every time we view, it’s nice to keep up with the new products and technology for when we are ready to upgrade.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

We certainly apologize for any confusion, Mary. You can view our phones and devices from our Home Page by clicking the third option at the top, “Phones & Devices”. If you like, you can view all of the options here as well. We appreciate all feedback regarding the usability of our website, so thank you for reaching out to us. We hope you have a great day!

  7. Leona MaConald says

I do not have cell service most of my drive from Gardner MA to Worcester MA…any chance of better cell service very soon????

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

We’re sorry to hear that, Leona. If you like, we can look at sending some updates to your phone that may help with this, and we can discuss some other options with you as well. Just give us a call at 888-345-5509, and we will be happy to assist you. Thank you so much for reaching out to us, and we look forward to getting this resolved for you!

I am extremely impressed with the commercial I saw with grandparents and their grand daughter. Kudos to Consumer Cellular for reflecting the actual population and seeing their customers as diverse as they really are. Progress is wonderful, America IS already great.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for the feedback, Toni! We really appreciate the kind words.

    • Bill says

I don’t know about “actual population” but representing our growing diverse culture as Americans is great.

      • tim says

I agree with Bill. Also who is the beautiful child who plays the granddaughter.

        • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for posting, Tim. We feature a variety of talented actors in our commercials, and we’re glad that you enjoy them. We appreciate your feedback, and we hope you have a wonderful day!

  9. Edward says

Where did Connie and Jack go? Their chemistry was so great and their commercials were something I looked forward to. I’m disappointed!

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for commenting, Edward. We love Connie and Jack, too, and they have been a great part of our Consumer Cellular family. Our new commercials have a slightly different focus, and we’re excited to feature some other friendly new faces. We appreciate your feedback, and we’re glad you’ve enjoyed our commercials. We hope you have a great day!

  10. George Hoover says

I have been with consumer cellular for 8 years and in my opinion no better carrier. One complaint is when holding for customer support no music, only very annoying verbiage screaming in your ear. If you turn the volume down you’ll miss your call. I

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for the feedback, George. I’m happy to pass that on to the appropriate department. We’re glad you’re enjoying your service, and we certainly enjoy having you as a customer!

  11. K R Gorman says

Is Consumer Cellular on the GSM system? I am about to purchase a phone. Will that work on your system? It says that it is a factory unlocked version and GSM.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for asking, K.R.! In general, most unlocked GSM phones work well with our SIM card, but the best way to know for sure is to try it with our SIM card. You can find one at a Target store near you, here on our website or we can send you one if you give us a call at 888-345-5509. We appreciate you taking the time to check in with us!

  12. Linn Neidengard says

I replaced my old Motorola with a IPhone 5s, both were from Consumer Cellular. What is the best way to dispose of the old Motorola?

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Great question, Linn. There are a variety of things you can do. First, you’ll want to make sure you perform a factory reset to remove any personal information. You’ll find this option in your Settings, but be sure that all photos and contacts are backed up first. Next, you can donate your phone to a friend or family member, or even a charitable organization. You can also recycle it at many Target stores, so check to see if that is an option for you. We also have a few ideas on how you can re-purpose it, so check out this blog for ideas. Thank you for posting, and let us know what you do with your old smartphone!

  13. Dana says

I just saw the commercial with grandparents and the grand daughter! Thank you for being aware of our diverse environment and beautifully showcasing it. Great, loving commercial.

  14. John says

Some people chide me that I’m using, “An old-people’s phone.” I’m not sure what that means, but I enjoy the monthly AARP discount on my bill, and my phone, texts, accesses the Internet and allows me to make and receive phone calls just like other people’s phones, EXCEPT…..my monthly bill is much smaller than there’s and I have reliable service wherever I go. I just wish my phone’s counter would roll over at the beginning of my billing cycle, instead of rolling over on the first of each month. Can that problem be solved?
“Old Folks Phone, indeed.” Let’s compare services and prices you young whippersnappers!

  15. Yolanda Acevedo says

We’re still waiting to know whatever happened to Jack and Connie. They seem to evade the question alot!

Simplt answer the question that so many of us are wondering about!

    Thank you!

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for posting, Yolanda. At this time, we’re featuring some new faces in our commercials. We can assure you that both Connie and Jack are well, and they will always be a part of Consumer Cellular. We’re glad that so many of our customers have enjoyed our ads over the years, and we truly appreciate your feedback.

  16. Susan says

I’m not a CC customer, but I’m a fan of Jack and Connie. However, after reading these posts I too, see where the Connie and Jack questions are still being evaded. I’m not interested in the the new faces, ads, etc, I would like to know why they are not in the ads any longer. I would like to see more of Jack and Connie and apparently CC customers would as well.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

We appreciate your feedback, Susan. At this time, we’re just trying something different and featuring some new people. I’m happy to forward your thoughts on to our Marketing team, so thank you for stopping by and posting!

      • Ann says

I dont like your boring commercials. Im sorry but there’s no one like Connie and Jack . When your. commercials show up I change the channel.

        • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

We appreciate your feedback, Ann. I’m happy to pass your thoughts on to our Marketing team. Thank you for posting!

  17. Susan says

    Thank you.
As long as jack didn’t get replaced because of illness I am okay with new people showing how easy it is to get Consumer cellular.
I did enjoy their outdoor activities and how they learned to use their phones over time.
I am sure I use my phone too much to fall under a $25 monthly fee.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for posting, Susan! We can assure you that Jack is doing just fine! The majority of our customers do pay about $25 per month, though some use more messaging and data, and some prefer to talk more. With our plans, we think there is something to offer everyone. We appreciate your feedback, and we hope you have a great day!

  18. Ricardo Hernandez says

Hello CC, I am writing because I was just concerned because I have not seen Connie and Jack for a while and was just concerned for both of their well being. I am glad they are still part of the CC crew, as my concern is based on the fact that I became a CC customer in June of 2016 and have enjoyed Connie and Jack for years and being a AARP member they seem to be like family if you will. I also wish to comment on the fact that the new commercials are more inclusive and representative of what America looks like today. Connie and Jack are what made if feel good, happy, sharing and wishing life were that way for all.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for posting, Ricardo! We assure you that Connie and Jack are alive and well, and we are just trying something different at this time. We’re glad to hear that you enjoy Connie and Jack as much as we do!

  19. Debra V. says

Just saw a commercial with men in a cafe and am wondering where it was filmed. The painting of the bridge on the wall behind them looks like a cafe in Parker, Az…???

  20. barb shuemaker says

You’ve ignored everyone’s question about Connie and jack. Did Jack die? He was looking poorly.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for posting, Barb. We can assure you that Jack is alive and well. We’re just trying a new approach with our commercials, focusing on how easy it is to use our service. We appreciate your concern, and we hope you have a wonderful day!

  21. Penny says

Who are the actors portraying the grandparents sitting on the steps with the grandchild in the current television commercial for Consumer Cellular?

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for posting, Penny. The lovely people in our commercials are un-credited actors, and as such, their names aren’t available. We appreciate you reaching out to us!

  22. Debbie says

I too am a Jack and Connie can. How do we get them back. I’m not a CC can but love their commercials. Bring them back

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

The new CC commercials are okay but we truly miss Connie and Jack and always looked forward to their interactions with each other and the people they met along their way. Hopefully, you will find a spot for them in one of your new approaches. It would be wonderful to see them again.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us, Sally. Connie and Jack have been a wonderful part of the Consumer Cellular story, and I’ll be happy to pass your feedback on. We’re introducing some new friendly faces with our newest commercials, and focusing on how our service works for a variety of people. We appreciate you posting!

  25. Pam moore says

Well it would be nice if Consumers Cellular would answer the question s about what happened to Connie and Jack, example say something like,

Connie and Jack have moved on to better their careers
Connie and Jack are no longer with Consumers Cellular at this time
Connie and Jack have retire from doing commercials with Consumers Cellular
Connie and Jack are not a part of our new faces
Connie and Jack have left on their on and are no longer apart of the Consumers Cellular family.
As a business to your many customers and fans an answer needs to be given. It is sad to see you trying expand your customer base , as new customers would scared to join Consumers Cellular, of fear your customer service would be lacking in answering questions about services in the help department…

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for your honest feedback, Pam. We understand that Connie and Jack have many fans, and we don’t know what the future will bring. At the moment, we’re featuring new faces and a different message in our commercials. We’ll be sure to keep our customers informed if we debut any new ads, or if Connie and Jack return. We appreciate you posting, and we hope you have a great day!

  26. Karla says

No Jack and Connie means less bisnuess for consumer cellular.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

We appreciate you sharing your thoughts about our commercials, Karla. Thank you for posting!

  27. Deborah says

My husband and I are really sad to see that Connie and Jack are NO longer with your company! We use to watch your commericals all the time, now we don’t!
It is because ( sorry to say, ) your newer commericals are…well… boring!
Please bring Connie and Jack back! Trust me, ALOT more people will watch your commericals again… Thank you.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for posting, Deborah, and for sharing your thoughts with us. I’m happy to pass these on to our Marketing department. We hope you have a great day!

  28. Christy says

I am in my 30s and not a customer of Consumer Cellular, but I loved the commercials featuring Connie and Jack. They seemed like a real couple. The “new friendly faces” seem like actors. I would have loved to have seen Jack and Connie as the grandparents of the little girl featured in the new ads. Bring back Connie and Jack!

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

We appreciate your feedback, Christy! I’m happy to pass your feedback on to our Marketing department. Thank you for posting, and we hope you have a wonderful day!

  29. Stella Rodriguez says

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

  30. FRANK LYLES says

What has Connie and jack been doing in their absent from the cellular Comercials

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for asking, Frank. We’re sure they are having a great time seeing the world and spending time with their friends and family. We appreciate you posting!

  31. Sherry says

I too miss Connie and Jack. I understand a new, fresh approach is what the company is trying. From reading through the reviews, I think you need to bring this wonderful “couple” back.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for your post, Sherry. We appreciate you sharing your feedback with us!

  32. Dallasite says

Enjoying the mix of new families, despite being a Connie and Jack fan. Count me among those who especially enjoy the grandparents with granddaughter, not to mention the two women on the beach. Also always liked the actress who used to be on the porch in one of the commercials, talking about the store where she bought her phone. You employ an excellent stable of actors, and just because two of them were especially good at portraying a couple doesn’t mean the others are any less effective.

  33. Mike Griffith says

Bring back Jack and Connie or I’m dropping my service. Just that simple.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for your feedback, Mike. I’m happy to pass that along to our Marketing department. We hope you have a wonderful day!

  34. Brooke says

Bring back Jack and Connie please!!!

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

We appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us, Brooke! Thanks for posting!

  35. Suki Mooney says

Who is the Nova Scotia Duck Toller in the commercial?

  36. Bonnie says

Is Bob McGrath in one of your commercials?

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for asking, Bonnie. We do not have any commercials at this time that feature Bob McGrath.

      • Richard Malley says

Are you sure about that? The gentleman in your latest commercials certainly looks like Bob McGrath.

        • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for posting, Richard. The actor in our commercials is not Bob McGrath, but you know what they say, everyone has a look-alike out there!

          • Walter says

I don’t know. Are you sure? It sure looks like Bob McGrath. But my wife points out it doesn’t sound like him. She didn’t like Connie.

          • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for posting, Walter, and for sharing your wife’s feedback. We very much enjoy the actor in our commercials, but he is not Bob McGrath. We hope you have a great day!

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Bring back Connie & Jack. Please.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for posting, Pat, and for sharing your feedback. We love Connie and Jack, and we’re excited to introduce some new happy faces into the mix. We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us, and we hope you have a great day!

  39. Rt says

I don’t even subscribe, but love the Connie and Jack commercials. The new ones are fine, but lack the chemistry the Jack and Connie have

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for posting! We enjoy Connie and Jack very much, and we’re just introducing some new friendly faces, and highlighting how our service works for many different types of users. Your feedback is very much appreciated, so thank you for taking the time to share it with us!

  40. Diane says

I loveed the Connie and Jack commercials and hope your marketing dept. will see that they should continue using the couple for your ads. They brought a very light and entertaining aspect to the ads. They have so many fans which should tell you something if you really want to make sales.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

That’s great feedback, Diane! We’re introducing some new faces in our latest commercials, but we love Connie and Jack as much as our customers do. I’m happy to pass your thoughts on to our Marketing department, and I hope you have a great day!

  41. b says

    I MISS CONNIE & JACK!!
BRING THEM BACK! The new ads, for the most part, just DON’T have the fun and pizzazz that Connie & Jack do.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for posting, B! We appreciate you taking the time to give us your feedback about our commercials.

  42. ann says

Please bring Jack and Connie back. I was going to switch over to cc due to their influence but decided not to when you stopped the commercials with them. I normally can’t stand commercials. I mute whenever one comes on except when Connie and Jack came on. PLEASE BRING THEM BACK!!!! Thank you.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for the feedback, Susan! I’m happy to pass your thoughts on to our Marketing team. We’ve enjoyed Connie and Jack as much as our customers have, and we are excited to introduce some new faces as well. We appreciate you taking the time to post, and we hope you have a great day!

  45. James Brantley says

I was planning on getting my wife a phone from cc but she now does not want one, mainly because she was a Connie and Jack fan. To bad they are gone, i will be getting a phone elsewhere

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

We appreciate you taking the time to post, James. Connie and Jack will always be an important part of the Consumer Cellular family. Our new commercials have a different approach, and focus on the benefits available with our service to many different people. Thank you for your feedback, and for commenting today!

  46. Paula says

I don’t get it. Why did you get rid of Connie and Jack instead of incorporating them with your “new direction”? My husband and I are not CC customers, nor are we members of AARP (although we are old enough). Anyway, we felt we could relate to Connie and Jack. We were considering switching to CC after my contract was up, but I don’t think so anymore. I don’t feel comfortable with how easily you got rid of these characters who were so successful for you rather than continuing to see their relevance.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for posting, Paula, and we appreciate your feedback. We love Connie and Jack, too, and we’re equally excited to introduce some new faces to our customers. I’m happy to pass your thoughts on to our Marketing department. Thanks for taking the time to comment, and we hope you have a great day!

  47. CJ says

I love your new commercial! I have extreme respect and admiration for companies that aren’t afraid to show others, the true diversity in families such as mine and so many others. Job well done, the commercial is very appealing. I’m actually going to switch my 81 year old mother’s plan to CC for all the benefits, esp the monthly cost and may inquire for myself.

Keep up the good work Consumer Cellular, you’ve got a new customer here!

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for your kind words, CJ, and we’re glad you’re enjoying our new commercials!

  48. Joyce Edwards says

Please bring Jack and Connie back!! We love them and miss them terribly!! The commercials aren’t as good with out them. Please we want them back!!

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for posting, Joyce! I’m happy to pass your thoughts on to our Marketing team. We love Connie and Jack, too, and they will always be a valued part of our story. Thanks again, and we hope you have a great day!

  49. Kae says

Where is Connie and Jack? They were wonderful commercials! How u loved these commercials! I had thought about going with CC but am hesitant now…I have tried to find out what happened to them, but cannot find out. Oh, well..,I will stick with the carrier I am with now.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for asking, Kae! Connie and Jack are doing well, and will always be a valued part of the Consumer Cellular family. Our new commercials introduce some additional smiling faces, including those of our very own customers. I’m happy to pass your feedback on to our Marketing team, so thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We appreciate you posting, and we hope you have a lovely day!

  50. Don Goosman says

I join in with so many who love Jack and Connie. In fact, many folks laugh when I tell them, “I’m on the Jack and Connie plan and love it.” Now as far as your new image … new marketing … new direction … new smiling faces are concerned, they lack the charm and wit and humor of those two with their nonverbal as well as verbal communication! Now with your “new thus and such” commercials, they just join the “junk” which I either mute or just switch channels.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Don. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us, and we’re happy to pass your comments on to our Marketing team. Thanks again for posting, and we hope you have a great day!

  51. Phillip says

I know that you so appreciate my taking the time to post and that you also wish me a great day just as I wish the same to you. I understand that you are excited about the new faces and new direction for you commercials and that you love Jack and Connie and that they will always be and important part of the Consumer Cellular story. I don’y have any real thoughts for you to pass on to your Marketing Dept.

However, could you tell me if we will be seeing Jack and Connie in future commercials? Thanking you in advance for answering my one simple question.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for posting, Phillip. At this time, we are not featuring Connie and Jack in our commercials, as we’re highlighting how our flexible plans work for a variety of different people. If Connie and Jack should make a return in the future, we’ll be sure to let our customers know here on the blog. We appreciate you taking the time to comment!

  52. Karen Williford says

So what about Connie and Jack? I felt like they were family and now I never get to see them.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for asking, Karen! We’re featuring some additional new faces in our latest commercials, since we focus on how well our service works for a variety of customers. Connie and Jack will always be a part of the Consumer Cellular family, and we’re glad that you’ve enjoyed them as much as we have!

  53. Consumer Cellular Family Member says

What an awful, snarky line in your “Change” commercial – “Remember when we used to go to the library…?” Well guess what Consumer Cellular? The library is still helpful and useful to seniors and many others. Yes, you can do searches on your phone. But guess what else? You can download eBooks and AudioBooks for FREE using the your phone and accessing the library. So get a clue and stop the smirking and superior attitude regarding people who use the library. It still works for so many of us, even with Consumer Cellular service! And, I thought Consumer Cellular and AARP wanted to help seniors and promote services at lower expense. How about free access from the library? Why knock it?

We appreciate your posting today. Please know that it was not our intention in any way to negatively portray libraries, and we thank you for giving us your feedback.

Who are the uncredited actors the little girl on the steps with the lady and man

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for asking, Malissa! We feature a variety of actors in that commercial, and they are all quite talented. Out of respect for their privacy, we prefer not to share their names.

  56. Jan says

I would like to know what the music is that’s playing in the background throughout the commercial ‘change you can count on’ the name of the song and the band performing it would be great. Thanks!!!

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for asking, Jan! We use custom music for our commercials, and we’re glad you enjoy it!

  57. Lindsay Rundle says

I hate the commercials. They depict people of 50+ as moronic people who have no clue how to work a phone, let alone have any technical knowledge. Why do you insist on painting people of that age in that light? That woman who does air guitar while saying “good ole rock and roll” and the woman who says “texty mctexterson” IS EMBARRASSING. GOOD GOD PEOPLE….GET A CLUE!!!

I will NEVER EVER give my business to a company who thinks that I am a clueless troglodyte that doesn’t know how to work a phone. You start showing respect for people of 50+ or lose customers!! I don’t care HOW much the service costs. My dignity is worth more than that.

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

We very much appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, Lindsay. Our commercials are intended to appeal to a variety of people, and help them learn more about our service. We appreciate you telling us what you think, and we have passed this feedback on to our Marketing team for review. Thanks again, and we hope you have a lovely day!

      • Debbie says

Ashley couldn’t have said it any better. I HATE the air guitar and the McTexterson comment too. Those commercials do seem to insult older people. Especially the characters who try to act cool. I personally yell at your commercials when they come on. “SOOOO STUPID!!!” is usually what I comment. I am 63 and guess what..I don’t know anyone who acts like that and I actually have a samsung edge and no one had to show me a thing about using it.

    • Ricardo says

“That woman who does air guitar while saying ‘good ole rock and roll’ and the woman who says ‘texty mctexterson’ IS EMBARRASSING.”

Thank you, Lindsay! Those are two moments of such absolutely EPIC cringe that I wince and groan every single time I see them.

I would also the add the super aggro waiter who butts into a conversation between two diners to blurt out “Make that three!”

That said, I have to give some points to the actress who delivers that horrid ‘texty mctexterson’ line so flawlessly coz that is a bit of a tongue tripper.

      • Debor says

My thoughts exactly Ricardo! But no credit for delivery of that horrid line. These actors appear as lame as the script.

    • Teddy says

Couldn’t agree more! “Texty McTexterson– (giggle)!”– is this actually a thing somewhere? Hey, it’ s a phone service that’ll make me look like an elderly moron! Who doesn’ t want that?

    Bring back Connie and jack

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for your feedback, Sharon! Connie and Jack have been a great part of our story, and we enjoy them as much as you do. We’re just as excited about the friendly new faces we’re featuring in our latest ads as well. We appreciate you posting!

  59. Lori Mulligan says

    Hey Ashley,
I would very much like to know what the name of the actor with full head of salt & pepper hair as well as gorgeous dimples is in the newest commercial is? He looks very familiar to my husband and I, we recognize him from a television show we can’t quite put our finger on! Please help it’s driving me nuts, lol!!

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for asking, Lori! We feature a variety of talented actors in our commercials, and we prefer not to share their names publicly. We appreciate you posting!

    • Joyce says

I know Consumer Cellular prefers not to share the names of their actors, but he sure reminds of Don Kelly, a Canadian First Nations comedian and host of the television series, Fish Out of Water. Just saying….. 😉

  60. Ken says

Who is the actor cooking in the kitchen and grilling outside in the CC commercials? He looks familair

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for posting, Rosemary! In most cases, an unlocked GSM device can be used with our service. You’ll just need to verify with the previous carrier that your phone is unlocked, as we aren’t able to do that on our end. Then you’ll just need one of our SIM cards. You’ll find them at your local Target store, here on our website or we can send you one if you call us at 888-345-5509. We’re always happy to help with any questions! Thank you so much for reaching out to us, and we hope you have a wonderful day!

  61. Kk says

Please tell me the name if the new actor in your commercials(not Connie/Jack) I know I have see the man in some show before. If you can’t give his real name, can you hint at the show? It is driving me crazy!

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for posting, KK. We prefer not to share the personal details of the actors in our commercials, but we’re glad to hear that you’re enjoying them!

  62. Jim says

Is that Nancy Sullivan in “Wireless the way you like it”? She played the mom in the Drake and Josh show. My kids say it’s not, but I’m betting it is!

    • Lynne says

Jim, it certainly appears to be – I watched Drake and Josh as a teenager and recognized her right away. There’s a Facebook post congratulating her for the commercial role.

  63. Blaine Barker says

Hey Lori, the man is Jim Garrity.
It drove me crazy till I found out.

    • Lori says

Thanks Blaine believe or not I only just happened upon your message on google. I can mow stop looking for him. Jim Garrity….

  64. Evelyn Smith says

I have been a consumer cellular customer for years, however I have to complain about the theme of your new commercials. The blatant ageism is disgusting. The commercial is disrespecting the the intelligence of the “older” adult. It depicts older adults as being naive, gullible and clueless. Why did you suddenly go this route in marketing? Where did you obtain these demographics? It is going to backfire. No one wants to be associated with a product that is a marketed to naive, gullible and clueless individuals. Well- that’s another issue.

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Evelyn. Our commercials are intended to help people learn more about our service and to appeal to a variety of people. We appreciate you letting us know what you think of them, and have passed your feedback along to our Marketing team for review. Thanks again, and we hope you have a great day!

  65. Jim Smith says

My Wife and I have been using CC for several years and are extremely happy with both the price and the service. I don’t generally pay much attention to commercials of any kind so this “Jack” and “Connie” uproar has me thinking back to the 60s when people believed soap opera actors were real people and not just playing a role.
These people portraying Jack and Connie are ACTORS, not real people any more than the people on the soaps. They’re not in the ads anymore because CC wanted to change focus and the two are likely playing different people in different roles today.

Better to focus on the service rather than the actors.
Keep up the good, affordable service and I’ll be a customer for life.

  66. Gerry Aire says

I like these commercials. They’re cheerful, and a refreshing change of pace from all the “help the needy” commercials that usually air on the networks I watch. I’m all for supporting charity, but the constant bombardment of those depressing ads can be hard for anyone to take. After a while, it begins to feel like emotional manipulation. At least these Consumer Cellular ads provide a break from all of that. (Even if we’re just being emo-manipped in the opposite direction!)

There is a man born 1950 with his yellow car in current ad. What is the car model and year. From what I see in the ad my guess is it’s a Buick 1950s vintage
