    Just bought a Consumer Cellular Motorola G4. How do I reset the ringtone to a song I have stored on my SD card that I installed in the phone? Not talking about the SIM card.

      Thank you for asking, Fran. If you want to use a custom ringtone, it may take a few extra steps. You’ll need to plug your phone into a computer, then go to the files saved to the phone. From there, go to Internal Storage, then the Ringtones folder. Copy the song you want to use into the Ringtones folder, and you should see it as an option when selecting from the ringtone list when you’re on your phone.     Will the Moto G4, if purchased through your website, be upgraded to Android Nougat immediately, since I have read that the G4’s are already receiving the update from other wireless providers? Also, does Consumer Cellular change anything in the phone software or does it come as it comes from Motorola?

      Great question, Lawrence! Software updates are released by the manufacturer, so Motorola will send it to your phone once it becomes available. You’ll see a screen appear prompting you to update the software, so just follow the prompts. You can also check to see if an update is available by opening your Settings app, then scrolling to the bottom until you see System updates. She’ll just want to save the phone number as a contact, then tap “edit” in the corner. From there, select Options, then check the box next to “All calls to voicemail”. There are also a variety of call blocking apps out there she may want to try. Please remind her to register her phone number with the Federal Do Not Call registry as well, which should cut down on the unwanted calls. If that is the case with your Samsung S6, you should be able to use it with our SIM card, as long as it is unlocked and it uses GSM technology.
