Ashley, I’m a new CC customer. Is it possible to place individual caller ID names on each of my three lines? I ask, after reading the above post, because it sounds possible but I’ve already had a CC rep tell me “no.” One of my lines reads “Cell phone CA.” It would be nicer if it could read my step-daughter’s name. On my bill, I see Free Talk Minutes, Complimentary Talk Minutes, and Fre In-Account Talk Minutes. What do these three categories mean?

Complimentary talk minutes include any calls you make to our customer service team or any made to emergency numbers like 911. When you have multiple lines on the account, all calls made between those phones are free of charge, so those are noted as Free In-Account Talk minutes. My husband and I both have cheap phones through MetroPCS. Since Jan. 25th we have been without service due to all the rain, and snow fall in Pahrump, NV. 89048. We are both in our 70’s and retired. We need our phones due to health issues. My husbands sister is in her 70’s also and had a stroke, and we cannot check up on her. She lives in Ohio. With metropcs, our monthly bill is $50. a month. How much would it cost us through you, and can we keep the phone # we have and use our same cell phones?

Does the usage report show the details by each line that is on the shared plan? Or is that data combined together and it is not possible to see what line is using how much of the talk and connect plan.

You’ll just select “View Usage Details” in the Plans & Usage section, and from there you can see the usage by line. I have been a Consumer Cellular customer for almost 2 years, and I am very happy with it. My mom and sister also have Consumer Cellular (their own accounts). I wanted to know if my account uses my talk minutes when I am talking with them, as I have the limited talk minutes on my plan.
Hi Lucinda, if your mom and sister have their own separate accounts, then calling them or receiving calls would use minutes from your plan. Our In-Account Calling service only applies to calls made within lines on the same account.
