  4. Kevin Mills says

Why won’t my phone work now that you have changed over it’s a 5g phone

    • Hi Kevin, thanks for your question. I see we were able to speak with you and found that the IMEI of the device currently on the account is not one that is compatible with our network for going forward. Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee compatibility for all devices, even if the device is a 5G model. In this case, we would recommend a new phone.

Doing due dilligence, I encountered a SERIOUS ISSUE. I was at a Target store (one in Leesburg, another in Winchester. BOTH REFUSED TO TRANSFER MY EXISTING CELL PHONE AFTER CHOOSING ONE OF THE MANY TARGET PHONES IN THEIR INVENTORY. THE SALES CLERK ALSO ADVISED ME WITH FAKE ISSUES OR MAYBE NOT….LIKE THE CHANGE REDUCES OR MAKES SOME PHONE FEATURES FAIL.

With all of the advertisements I’ve seen on 5G, I’ve seen/heard nothing about a 5G phone that isn’t compatible with 5G service. Thanks for the explanation Jacob at Consumer Cellular.

Another cellular company has offered to make my car a WiFi hotspot, do you offer that service?

    • Hi Charles, thanks for your question! We can’t enable anything in your car, we don’t have access to this. However, we can enable our hotspot feature in your phone and if your car is able to connect to that, you can use that feature to connect it along with other devices as well.
