Just received the G5 in the mail today for my son. Sure wish I Target would have been honest in January when they told me the G5 was a long way out. I got stuck with the G4.

Our Moto G4s received an over-the-air (OTA) upgrade to Android 7.0 several weeks ago–this is one of the features highlighted on the G5. The upgrade has made a very noticeable improvement in battery life. Also, by using a micro-SD memory card you can easily increase the memory available on your G4. Plus, the screen on the G4 is 5.5″ but only 5.2″ on the G5. The only real advantage I see for the G5 is a more powerful processor. So, given the price difference, you might not be doing so badly with the G4.

I preordered a G5 back in March when it was first released and got it April 4th. It works great with Consumer Cellular. As I use the 500 mb data plan I need to keep close track and I found that “My Data Manager” is perfect for that. I found the G5 is easy to use, and the videos above cover its setup and management very well. Enjoy!!!

Having a huge problem with the Moto G5 as it related to WiFi and Blue Tooth. It keeps getting disabled. Tonight while in car my phone rang once via the Bluetooth in car then the Bluetooth disconnected and phone rang which is how I managed to total my car. Looking at phone on seat while driving, These problems are not safe.
