Internationally recognized, J.D. Power has been bestowing its awards for quality in multiple industries for more than 50 years. The data-driven insights its studies provide help drive continuous improvements in products and services for companies in technology, the automotive industry, insurance, healthcare, financial services, and more.
J.D. Power ranked customer satisfaction among six factors: in-store service, customer service over the phone, website service, app-based customer service, social media interactions, and customer care over text messages.
Across all channels, Consumer Cellular earned a cumulative score of 849 out of a possible 1,000 points—the highest of any carrier in any category. Other carriers in the Non-Contract Value category had an average score of 790.
The survey was based on responses from nearly 16,000 wireless customers who had at least one interaction with their wireless carrier’s customer service department within three months, with participants asked about their experiences between January and June 2022.
We have accomplished a lot in the past six months to help continue our awarded service, including opening two brand-new 100% U.S.-based call centers and increasing the number of agents available. We have also increased the phones we offer, including brand-new iPhones and Androids. Finally, we have introduced agent training for all those new devices, so you receive the most up-to-date information!
