On behalf of the dedicated, hard work of so many Consumer Cellular employees and the loyal support of countless customers, I was honored to be selected as a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year.
Although it’s nice to be recognized for your efforts, what I really appreciated was the opportunity to talk about Consumer Cellular. It seems I can never tell our story too many times because it’s all about people. From the people we serve to the people helping them out, our commitment to provide a wide group of people with practical, meaningful, convenient, and affordable cell phone plans starts at the top and has never wavered.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy cell phone technology as much as the next user. But what I appreciate most is our people-first approach and I sincerely believe that approach is what separates us from the competition. We follow a simple formula for success. We like each other. We like our customers. And we like coming to work every day.
