1 Simple Trick to Take Photos and Video at the Same Time- for iPhone

Have you ever missed out on recording a video in fear of missing the perfect photo? If you have an iPhone 5 or iPhone 6, you can easily take a photo while recording video:

  1. Start recording your video.
  2. Tap the camera icon on the screen to take a photo.

It’s that easy! Your photo will be saved to your Camera Roll. Please note: If you have a previous iPhone version, you can download an app that will provide this ability.  For our Android users, see our previous blog here to learn how as well.

Pat, what is the name of the app if you have an earlier iPhone version?

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for commenting, Sharon. There are a variety of apps available for earlier model iPhones, and they often have other features included as well. Just search “photo and video app” in the App Store, and you should be able to find an option that works best for you. Thank you again for reaching out to us!

Is there a way to put my pictures on my computor so they can be printed out?

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Absolutely, Laura. You can use the charging cord that came with your phone to connect to your computer. From there, you can copy your pictures from your phone and save them to the computer. Then you will be able to print or share them however you like. If you run into any trouble, just give us a call at 888-345-5509, and we can walk you through it. Thanks for asking!
