THE NEW APPLE IPHONE 14 SERIES IS COMING SOON

We’re proud to be launching Apple’s newest devices, the iPhone 14 series! This includes the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 Plus will be available through Consumer Cellular on October 6th, while all the other devices will be able on September 16th! Here is a little sneak peek of what you can look forward to.

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus have fantastic features, including an impressive dual-camera system that can capture stunning photos in low and bright light. The iPhone 14 Plus boasts a large 6.7″ display and an all-day battery life.

The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max take incredible pictures with the remarkable 48MP Main camera. They both include a brand-new Apple feature called Dynamic Island. This feature bubbles up music, sports scores, FaceTime, and more, all without taking you away from what you’re doing. These devices also feature Always-On Display. Now your Lock Screen is always glanceable, so you don’t even have to tap it to stay in the know.

All four devices include brand-new vital safety features, Emergency SOS via satellite, and Crash Detection. Emergency SOS via satellite lets you text emergency services over satellite if you don’t have cell service or Wi-Fi for peace of mind when you are off the grid. Crash Detection calls for help when you can’t; it will detect a severe car crash, then call 911 and notify your emergency contacts.

Plus, with every purchase from the new iPhone 14 series, you’ll receive some free extras! This includes three months free of Apple TV, three months free of games from the Arcade app, access to hundreds of magazines and newspapers for a month from the News app, and three months free of the Fitness app.

Planning to make the switch? Consumer Cellular offers several options to help, including our new TradeUp program and our 0% interest financing program, EasyPay. To stay up to date with the most recent device releases, sign up for our newsletter or visit our website.

I need to know about changing service, and joining one of y’all plans and buying an Apple Phone.

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Hi Carolyn, our customer service team would be happy to answer any questions and help you get started if you give us a call at 888-345-5509 or chat with us here.

This is great news! I would also like to add an Apple Watch with cellular?

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Hi Jer, thanks for posting. While we won’t have support for the Apple Watch at launch, we do plan to support it in the near future.

  5. Stacie says

How do I activate the esim with my existing number if I pre-ordered my iPhone 14 from Apple? I am also currently paying easy pay on two phones with consumer cellular but was told I could continue paying them monthly without having to pay them off I also want to make sure this is true? Customer service told me nothing would change and I can still use my existing number if I bring the iPhone 14 unlocked but just keep paying my easy pay as I normally do. I just want to make sure it doesn’t have to be paid off. Thank you

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for the questions, Stacie. In general, the EasyPay plans would remain active as long as the account is not cancelled. With this, you can use a different phone while still paying off your previous phone. To activate an iPhone 14, you’ll need to call our customer service team at 888-345-5509 for assistance.

  6. Mark Morgan says

how do I use a esim on I-14 phones

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Hi Mark, if you’ve purchased an iPhone 14 from Apple directly, you’ll need to call us at 888-345-5509 for assistance with the activation. Otherwise, if you purchase it through us after 9/16, it will come with activation instructions for the eSIM in the phone.

  7. Victoria says

Hi I am currently a consumer cellular customer and my daughter pre-ordered me the unlocked iphone 14 from Apple directly. My question is I have 2 lines on my account and both are with easy pay. Can I use the new iPhone 14 with my current number without paying off my easy pay? So basically I just want to continue making my monthly payments as I’ve been doing. Thank you

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Hi Victoria, I apologize if you didn’t receive our prior response. In general, the EasyPay plans would remain active as long as the account remains active. With this, you can use a different phone while still paying off your previous phone. To activate an iPhone 14, you’ll need to call our customer service team at 888-345-5509 for assistance.

  8. Orvar says

Sounds exciting! Will you also be restocking the iphone 13 soon? Trying to decide which one to go for.

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Hi Orvar, we don’t have restock dates available for our phones but our website is updated immediately when new stock is received so I recommend checking our website periodically.

  9. Jerry says

I, like many others purchased the new iPhone 14 directly from Apple and will need to add the esim from Consumer Cellular. Just wondering why it is necessary to call when it would be a lot easier to email instructions with the QR code?

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Hi Jerry, as eSIM support is still going to be a new addition to our service, only iPhone 14 phones that we sell will be able to activate via QR Code. iPhone 14 models purchased through Apple direct will need to be activated with the assistance of our customer service team for the time being.

  10. CSK says

The 16th? That’s today!! YAY, I’m excited! I’m so glad I checked the site. I’ve been waiting for the 13 pro to be restocked… maybe I’ll go with the 14!

  11. Michael says

I am a bit confused about 5G data. Currently, with my IPhone 11, I can go to settings, then cellular, and then choose cellular data (on) and I use data from my plan with Consumer Cellular. Is that how 5G data gets turned on or off on the IPhone 14’s ???

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Hi Michael, 5G is a type of cellular signal that’s faster than it’s predecessor, 4G LTE. The iPhone 11 is not 5G compatible, so there isn’t a setting to connect to it on that phone. However, the iPhone 12 and newer (including the 14 series) is 5G compatible and would have the option in the settings.

Turning on Cellular Data in your phone just turns the data service on, which is used to get onto the internet.

  12. Sabrina LaCole says

When will the 14 pro max be available?

  13. Michael says

Thank you, Nicole. I will be ordering the 14 Plus on October 6th or 7th.

  14. Tom says

How do we transfer number from old phone to esim?

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

Hi Tom, if you already have our service you can set up your order while logged in here. If you need any help, feel free to call us at 888-345-5509.

  15. Kevin says

Previous articles stated that Consumer Cellular didn’t support e-sims. How will this work given iPhone 14 uses e-sim? Will consumer cellular iPhone 14 support international phone sims?

  16. Ann-Marie Odling says

    Hello,

When will iPhone 13 Pro be back in stock?

I need the dual simcard feature, where one is a physical sim card.

  17. Ann says

Nicole mentioned that CC is planning to support cellular Apple watches in the near future. How near is that? We currently have CC, but I just bought an Apple watch with cellular and have started looking at other companies that do support watches and switching.
If CC is already working on adding watches, I may consider waiting if it is a matter of months.

  18. Ann says

Thanks for replying. I was just wanting a ball park projection like around 6 months or about a year or more than a year. Has it only been talked about or is CC actively working toward it?

  19. Sheila says

Just purchased the iPhone 14 Pro Max thru CC…lots of issues with this model:(
Apple has already issued 2 software updates to address the bugs. Have updated. After following all the suggested steps, phone still can’t connect to CarPlay (I have a 2022 MazdaCX-5 and had no issues with my iPhone 11)
Also can’t send/receive photos via text. Have followed all the suggestions for fixing this problem and still no luck.
    Is this a CC issue?

    • Hi Sheila, thanks for your post. While we can’t do much in terms of helping with the car since we don’t have the tools for the car, we can help with service issues. Give us a call at 800-686-4460 or chat with one of our live agents on our website here to follow up.

  20. Lori says

Hopefully soon you will be able to sell and service the Apple watch. I’m looking for the Hermes Edition Series 8 and not want to have to cancel my subscription to ATT &T. How good are my chances?

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

I understand where you’re coming from, Lori. Unfortunately, we don’t have a timeline we can provide just yet. As soon as support becomes available, we’ll make an announcement.

  21. jennifer Kent says

Yeah i am thinking about switching once my easy pay is paid off next january as in 24 yall and this crap of in the near future but we don’t know how near is getting old i have heard that for over a year. I need the health features of the apple watch and one that is lte compatible over two years ago. so yeah.

    • Nicole at Consumer Cellular says

I understand your frustration, Jennifer. eSIM support is still new to our service but we are working on adding support for other eSIM-compatible devices, including the Apple Watch. While we don’t have a timeline available at this time, the Apple Watch can still be used with the Bluetooth connection in the meantime.
