    Do you have a talk only plan? Looking to set up my mother and she uses her phone only to make and receive calls.

      Hi Linda, you can set up service with only a talk plan. All of our plans can be found here, and both of our talk plans are listed. There is an option that you can select that says “I don’t need a Connect Plan (Text Messages & Data)” so that the service will only include talk.

    • Hi Latricia, thanks for your post! We do not currently offer the iPhone X as part of our lineup for phones. If this is the model you are wanting to use, you are welcome to use an unlocked version of it from Apple though!

    I just ordered an iPhone 7 to connect to tracfone,thinking I might go your way how much a month with talk and text

    • Hi Mary Lou, thanks for your interest! If you would like to use that iPhone you ordered, you will want to make sure it is unlocked from all other providers and is able to take a SIM card. While we cannot guarantee all models of phone will be compatible, our agents will definitely do all they can to see if they can get it switched to us.

    If I already have a phone can I just connect the service with you guys ?

    • Hi Bianca, that’s a great question, thanks for posting! I would advise that the phone would need to be unlocked and able to take a SIM card to be considered compatible with our service. We cannot guarantee all models will be compatible with our service, but our agents will do all they can to get it working.

      I appreciate your interest, Sara! we don’t have Unlimited Data, but we do have Unlimited Talk and Text with a variety of data options available. You can find all of our plans on our website here and compare your usage with them to find the one that would best fit your needs.

    how do you set up a watch phone

    • Hi Thomas, thanks for your post. We don’t sell smartwatches and the steps to set them up will vary. To connect it to your phone though, you will want to enable Bluetooth on both your phone and the watch to allow for them to connect and pair.

    My family, 4 lines, is with t-mobile and all our phones are unlocked. I am pretty tech savvy but not savvy enough to navigate your website as it keeps going to three (3) lines. What’s the process for me to be able to switch without any interruption.

      Hi Mossadeq, the most lines you can start service with is 3 lines. Eligibility for additional lines is based on the credit check that is processed and how long you have our service. When you’re transferring service, we’ll automatically start the transfer 7 days after the equipment ships unless you contact us to start it earlier or postpone it. Transfers between most cellular companies complete within 24 hours, but while it’s in progress you’ll most likely experience dual service on both networks. We recommend having your T-Mobile account number, billing address, and PIN handy when starting service to make the process go by more quickly.

    I’m trying to set purchase a new phone and single line for my husband, why does it automatically go to 2 lines at a higher price? He only needs one line

    • Hi Penny, thanks for your post. Our website is set up by default to show the two lines on the plans page. However, you can click where you see the symbol of the phone with a “1” in it to show the cost for just one line.     My husband and I are sick of our cell phone bill going higher with extra fees we don’t know about. We’re paying $90.00 a month for two lines. We’re both seniors and would like to cut our bill in half if that’s possible. We both have flip phones. We just got brand new batteries online for our phones and my phone calls won’t go through now. My husband wants a flip phone, I wouldn’t mind getting a smartphone but I don’t want a lot of bell and whistles. Does Consumer Cellular have an offer where we can get free phones for switching? We just don’t want to have to pay for new phones since we can’t really afford it. I will call your number tomorrow. Thank you.
