Save More than a Tree, Protect Our National Parks

It gives me great pride and pleasure to tell you about our new partnership with the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA). Consumer Cellular has made the commitment to donate $5 to the NPCA for every customer who signs up for our email billing program in order to support their mission of protecting and sustaining America’s national parks! In fact, we’re so committed to assisting NPCA with their mission that we’ve agreed to contribute up to $150,000 over the next year.

I feel this agreement is truly a win-win. You get a more efficient—and environmentally-friendly billing process and the good people at the NPCA get a donation to help them care for and support America’s natural and man-made history. To find out more about the organization and the valuable service they provide, please visit their web site at www.npca.org.

On a personal note, my family and I have been to Grand Canyon National Park so many times we can’t even remember the exact number of visits. It is by far our favorite family vacation spot. We hiked up and down that gorgeous canyon with the kids and even camped at the bottom. Then there was our family trip to Grand Teton National Park as well as to Yellowstone. Mere words can’t describe the jaw-dropping beauty of those parks. We haven’t been to Yosemite yet but that’s next on our list.

It’s almost summertime and the driving is easy. So don’t forget to hit the road with your children and grandchildren this summer and visit our national parks. It’s a great opportunity to create new, lasting memories with your family. You will not be disappointed, I assure you. America’s treasures are worth seeking—and saving. And remember, when you visit a park give a shout-out to the NPCA, whose motto is “Protecting our National Parks for future generations.”

Saving a tree is a noble accomplishment, to be sure. But now you have a chance to save much more than that. You can help save the entire American legacy, from the inspirational beauty of Sequoia National Park, home to the largest tree on earth, to the majestic Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., our nation’s capitol.

Here’s how: Just log in to your account and choose the email billing option. Just like our no contract cell phone plans, it’s that simple. And when you do, we’ll donate $5 to help preserve the best of America for all families. That’s a promise.
