Consumer Cellular’s SMS self-help lets you get account information sent straight to your phone, just by texting a short command to our short code.
#PAYMENT: A secure payment link, sent right to you
Text #PAYMENT and we’ll send you a secure, payment link along with your current balance and payment due date, so you can pay without logging into your account.
If you don’t currently have a balance due, we’ll send you the date of your next invoice instead, so you always know what’s coming and when.
#PAYHISTORY: Your recent payments, at a glance
Text #PAYHISTORY and we’ll send you:
- Your last three payment amounts and dates
- Your current balance
- Your payment due date
- Your next invoice date
It’s a quick way to double-check that a payment went through, or see what you’ve paid recently, all without digging through statements or calling in.

- Start a New Message from your texting/messaging app
- In the To field, type this short code: 38882821
- Type #PAYMENT or #PAYHISTORY and hit Send
It doesn’t matter if you use uppercase, lowercase or a mix — just make sure you use the correct command, with the hashtag.
