    I was a real novice and didn’t know about “exiting out” and used too much data. I would have been much more aggressive if I had some “free time” to learn.

    We have had Consumer Cellular for several months now. We are very pleased with the clarity we have received on the service. We just recently purchased new phones, and my husband can hear much better on his new phone. I have been talking to my parents for six months about switching over from their current carrier, but they were under contract. On Valentine’s Day, they switched to Consumer Cellular, both received new phones, and though my mom is 85 and dad is almost 90, they are hearing great with their new phones. They are also very pleased with the price of their new service. Their old service was almost $100/month for them. Consumer Cellular is much more reasonable.     My husband and I are very happy we found Consumer Cellular. We went from $50/line everything unlimited to $45 for 2 lines only limit is data (1 gig) which is ok with us. I learned how to limit Data use by sharing with my teenage grandson, needless to say I NEVER had data to use. Lol
    **What happens if we go over the 1 gig?
    **Can someone help us configure my husband’s phone to use less data?
    I have an iPhone 5C and have set it up to limit data use, I’d like to do the same for hubby’s phone.

    I can’t believe what a rip off this company turned out to be. I purchase a Consumer Cellular all in one SIM card for 10.99 + tax on February 20, 2018. I was told I could keep my old number. When I tried to activate my phone I would get a message on the top left of my phone saying Emergency call… Which means the chip is there I just don’t have any service. It is now February 24, 2018, and I still remain without service.

    While most comments seem OK, my present experience has been exasperating. I received my new iPhone SE at 6 this evening. I know most new phones need charging before further development so I tried calling to ask how to charge this new phone as it is totally unfamiliar to me due to always previously having an ANDROID. ‘Hold’ time was announced as “30 minutes”. 55 minutes later, I gave up. I tried again 2 hours later with the same results. So much for “great service”! If you’re expanding, you sure need more help !!
