Well, we want to share something important and troubling that we\u2019ve become aware of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Sneaky Phone Scam<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some clever fraudsters have figured out a way to order phones using other people&#8217;s wireless accounts. But that&#8217;s just the first step in their scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What happens next is the tricky part. After you receive this mystery phone, that you never ordered, you <em>might<\/em> get a call from someone pretending to be from Consumer Cellular. They&#8217;ll say there&#8217;s been a mistake and ask you to ship the phone back to &#8220;our warehouse&#8221; at an address they provide. <strong>Here&#8217;s the red flag:<\/strong> We would <em>never <\/em>call you about this and the address they give isn&#8217;t our real return address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Protect Yourself<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As your trusted wireless provider for over 25 years, we want to make sure you don&#8217;t fall victim to this scam. Here&#8217;s what you need to know, Consumer Cellular has <strong>only one<\/strong> return address: 12447 SW 69th Ave, Portland, OR 97223.
