Did you know that you can connect your hearing aid to your smartphone, making it easier to hear telephone calls, music, alerts, and notifications? It\u2019s much simpler than you think and can be a relief to hear your phone more clearly. This blog will take you through the steps of connecting your Apple<\/a> or Android<\/a> to your hearing device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Connect your Android to Your Hearing Aid<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open your phone\u2019s Settings app<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Tap Connected Devices<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Tap Pair New Device<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Choose your hearing aid from the list of available devices\n

    1. If you have more than one hearing aid: Wait for the first hearing aid to connect, then tap the other hearing aid in the list of available devices<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. To change the settings, next to the name of the hearing aid, tap Settings<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      How to Connect your iPhone to Your Hearing Aid<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Tap the Settings app<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. In your Settings, tap Bluetooth\n

        1. To make sure your Bluetooth is on, click the slider button, and it will turn green when it is on<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Open the battery doors on your hearing aid<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. On your phone, go to Settings again and tap the Accessibility button<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Scroll down to the Hearing section and tap Hearing Devices<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. Close the battery doors on your hearing aid<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        6. On the Hearing Devices screen, you\u2019ll see the word Searching with a spinning wheel to the right, which lets you know that your phone is searching for your hearing aid<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        7. When your device\u2019s name appears on the screen, tap on the name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        8. Tap Pair when prompted with a paring request, be prepared to wait a minute to pair<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        9. You will know it has successfully paired when you see your hearing aid under MFi Hearing Devices with a checkmark<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
