As an added bonus, now\nyou can share all of your content with select family members or friends by subscribing\nto the Family Sharing feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Android users, a subscription to Google Play\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/family\/create?hl=en_US\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Family Library<\/a> allows you to share purchased content with up to six people in your family. All of your purchased content is added to the Family Library automatically but you can also choose to keep certain items to yourself, if you prefer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you set up the Family Library service, you\u2019ll be required to\nset-up a shared payment method for your group to use. Members of your family\ngroup can elect to use the shared payment method, or they can continue using\ntheir own payment methods such as a Google Play gift card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To set up a Family Library, open the Google Play Store app and tap\nmenu, followed by Account &gt; Family &gt; Sign Up for Family Library. The only\nrestrictions are that everyone in your family group must be at least 13 years\nold, and must live in the same country as you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have an iPhone, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/family-sharing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Family Sharing<\/a> is available on any device running on iOS 8 or later. As with Android, you can share all your content with up to 6 other people, and share a single-family payment method (like a shared credit card or debit card that is used for all future purchases).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To start a new family group, go to Settings &gt; iCloud &gt; Set\nUp Family Sharing. You\u2019ll need to follow the on-screen instructions to set up a\nnew group, after which you\u2019ll be able to add individual family members to your\ngroup. You can invite members to your group at any time by going to Settings\n&gt; iCloud &gt; Family &gt; Add Family Member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One important thing to note is that, other than music, you can\u2019t\nshare content from one platform to another. For instance, apps that have been\npurchased on an iPhone will only work on other family member\u2019s iPhone devices.\nLikewise, apps that have been purchased on an Android will only work on family\nmember\u2019s Android devices. For your music library, it\u2019s possible to access Apple\nMusic on Android and Google Play Music on iPhone with a downloadable app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s so\nmuch great content available for your smartphone, and now you don\u2019t have to\njust keep it to yourself!
