Duo was designed as a replacement for the older <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.google.android.talk&amp;hl=en_US\" target=\"_blank\">Hangouts<\/a> app, which still provides valuable tools like group texting and video calling with up to 10 contacts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/facetime\/id1110145091\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">FaceTime<\/a> works exclusively between Apple iOS devices, including iPhones, and if you\u2019ve got an Apple-based group you want to connect with, it can accommodate up to 32 people on a Group FaceTime video chat at once. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>WhatsApp is a popular and widely-used messaging app available for free from both the Apple <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/whatsapp-messenger\/id310633997\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">App Store<\/a> for iPhone users, and the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.whatsapp&amp;hl=en_US\" target=\"_blank\">Play Store<\/a> for Android.
