We were delighted last month to find that Consumer Cellular was named as having \u201c<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/americas-best-customer-service-2020\/online-services-digital-products#Mobile%20Carriers%20and%20Telecommunications\" target=\"_blank\">America\u2019s Best Customer Service<\/a>\u201d in the Mobile Carriers and Telecommunications category by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/americas-best-customer-service-2020\/online-services-digital-products#Mobile%20Carriers%20and%20Telecommunications\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Newsweek<\/a>. The results came from an exhaustive, nationwide survey Newsweek conducted of more than 20,000 customers who have either made purchases, used services, or gathered information about products or services in the past three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On a 10-point\nscoring scale, Consumer Cellular earned a score of 8.69, well ahead of any of\nour wireless competitors and also one of the top scores among the 480 companies\nwho were rated across 160 different categories. Scores were based 50-50 on a\ncompany\u2019s \u201cNet Promoter Score,\u201d which rates the likelihood that a consumer will\nrecommend a company or service to friends, and a cumulative score from 5\nevaluation categories including range of services, customer focus, and\nprofessional competence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Newsweek honor is the latest recognition our 100% U.S. based customer service team has received this year, but it\u2019s certainly not the first. As you may recall, in August we were also named \u201c#1 in Customer Service among Non-Contract Wireless Providers\u201d by <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jdpower.com\/business\/press-releases\/2019-us-wireless-customer-care-performance-studies-vol-2?utm_campaign=2019%20US%20TMT%20Wireless%20Customer%20Care%20V2&amp;utm_source=hs_email&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_content=75259546&amp;_hsenc=p2ANqtz--u9z4CJ_yV7rqbm8ZGAjAiW6JaIdTgSi74bUehybbBdU8GZ7o6a-xGMrBoT05QLol36_ks11H_AovgzDwhUrordXgJK6ecF2o0n1x8BJzsPj8jNyM&amp;_hsmi=75259546\" target=\"_blank\">J.D.
