That means from coast-to-coast, and from north-to-south, you can rely on connecting with Consumer Cellular pretty much anywhere you go.<\/p>\n<p>Check near the top of the home page on your cellphone. If you\u2019re connected to our network, you\u2019ll see either the words \u201cCC Network,\u201d or just \u201cCC\u201d, depending on the device. You\u2019ll also find signal strength indicators here, usually appearing as bars, which tell you how powerful the signal strength is in your location. Generally, these will range from zero bars (no service) to, depending on the type of device, four or five bars (very strong service).<\/p>\n<p>The strength of the signal is impacted by many factors, which are not unique to our networks but instead impact wireless signals from any carrier. You may experience \u201cgaps\u201d in service (meaning low, or no, signal strength) due to things like terrain, weather, buildings, construction, high-usage periods, or other technical constraints. If you\u2019re driving through a tunnel, for instance, the high frequencies used by wireless signals simply aren\u2019t able to reach you consistently. The shape and depth of the tunnel, and the things in and around you all interfere with the signal\u2019s ability to connect with your device.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, keep in mind that our wireless coverage does not work outside the country unless you first enable international roaming, which allows you in some cases to connect using international networks.
