One of our core principles at Consumer Cellular is that we are always looking to provide you with unmatched value. This doesn\u2019t necessarily mean just having the lowest prices, though our rates are among the best in the wireless industry.<\/p>\n

Unmatched value includes giving you a variety of reasons to stay with us, despite fierce competition for your business. It means consistently providing useful, intelligent benefits you simply won\u2019t get from another carrier. That\u2019s why I\u2019m so pleased to be able to announce a couple of important changes that I believe add even more flexibility and convenience to our service.<\/p>\n

First, for the ninth year in a row, we\u2019re expanding many of our most popular Talk and Connect monthly rate plans, adding more minutes, text messages, and web data\u2014at no additional cost.<\/p>\n

For some of our Connect Plans<\/a>, we\u2019re increasing both the number of text messages and the amount of web data you can use on your cellular plan each month. For instance, on our $5 per month Connect Plan, you\u2019ll get an additional 500 texts and 50MB of data for the same price. We\u2019re also making more web data available for those who need a bit extra\u2014after you have used all of our 4GB plan, you can add additional 1GB\u2019s for only $10 each, up to a maximum of 10GB each month.<\/p>\n

You can talk more, too: we\u2019re also adding minutes to some of our Talk Plans<\/a>. This includes 250 additional minutes on our $20 monthly plan, and 500 additional minutes on both the $30 and $40 monthly plans\u2014again with absolutely no change in the price.<\/p>\n

But that\u2019s not all. We realize that it\u2019s not always easy to know how many minutes, texts, or data you\u2019ll need in a month. While our Usage Alerts have always helped you keep track of what you have used, it was still up to you to change cellular plans when needed to get the best rate.  Well, from now on, we\u2019re taking the worry out of keeping track of your monthly usage. If you happen to go over your current plan amount, we\u2019ll automatically upgrade you to a plan that covers the amount you used for the month.<\/p>\n

In plain English, this means: no more overage fees! We prefer giving you the best, most cost-effective option for what you are actually using. With Automatic Upgrades, your monthly usage will always be covered by the best rate possible, with no surprises or additional fees.<\/p>\n

Perhaps best of all, there\u2019s no action required on your part. Our Automatic Upgrade program is included in your service. And as always, with Consumer Cellular you can change your cellular plans whenever you need, as much as you like, with no additional fees.<\/p>\n

So if you\u2019ve been auto-upgraded one month but know that your usage will dip back down the following month, you can simply change back to your previous plan.<\/p>\n
