Have you ever missed a call or text because you were listening to music or your phone was accidentally left in silent mode?<\/p>\n

Did you know Android users can enable the LED light (the same light used for the camera flash and flashlight) on their device to visually alert them to incoming calls, texts, or email\u2014even if the phone is in silent mode?<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s how:<\/p>\n

  1. Open the Settings app.<\/li>\n
  2. Tap \u201cDevice.\u201d<\/li>\n
  3. Tap \u201cAccessibility.\u201d<\/li>\n
  4. Tap the box next to \u201cFlash Notification.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    It\u2019s that easy! Now your camera light will blink when you receive a notification.<\/p>\n

    Please note: If your device doesn’t have this option, you can download a free app from the Google Play Store:<\/p>\n

    1. Open the Google Play Store app.<\/li>\n
    2. Search for and install \u201cFlash Alerts.\u201d<\/li>\n
    3. Open the app.<\/li>\n
    4. Tap \u201cON\u201d to enable flash alerts for incoming calls, text messages, or both.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
