Did you know Android users can access free images like smileys, animals, shapes, and other emotion icons (called \u201cemoji\u201d) to use in texts and emails just by turning on their Emoji dictionary?<\/p>\n

Add a little fun to your messages in a few easy steps:<\/p>\n

Open the Settings app.<\/p>\n

  1. Tap \u201cLanguage and Input.\u201d<\/li>\n
  2. Tap the settings icon next to \u201cAndroid keyboard.\u201d<\/li>\n
  3. Tap \u201cAdd-on dictionaries.\u201d<\/li>\n
  4. Tap \u201cEmoji for English words.\u201d<\/li>\n
  5. Tap \u201cAdd New Keyboard.\u201d<\/li>\n
  6. Tap \u201cEmoji.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Now, whenever you\u2019re typing an email or text message, you can use specific keywords to add emoji to your message. For example, typing \u201chappy\u201d or \u201csmile\u201d will add a smiley face emoji. Please note: If your Android device is running an older version of the operating system (Ice Cream Sandwich or earlier), there are several emoji apps available to download for free. Just search for \u201cemoji\u201d in the Google Play Store.<\/p>\n
