Do you receive annoying calls from telemarketers or persistent calls from unfamiliar numbers that never leave a message?<\/p>\n

We have two free, easy ways to prevent unwanted calls on your phone:<\/p>\n

1. Download a call-blocking app like Mr. Number<\/strong><\/p>\n

This app can provide additional information on unrecognized numbers (like the caller\u2019s city and state), and gives you the choice of hanging up on blocked callers or sending them directly to voicemail.<\/p>\n

2. Add your phone number to the National Do Not Call Registry<\/strong><\/p>\n

Go to www.donotcall.gov<\/a> and register your cellphone phone number. Once registered, telemarketers covered by the National Do Not Call Registry have up to 31 days to stop calling you or face penalty from the Federal Trade Commission.<\/p>\n
