Here’s How:<\/strong><\/p>\n – Open the Settings app.<\/p>\n – Tap \u201cGeneral.\u201d<\/p>\n – Swipe up and tap \u201cKeyboard.\u201d<\/p>\n – Swipe up and tap \u201cAdd New Shortcut…\u201d<\/p>\n – In the “Phrase” window, type the phrase you want your shortcut to expand to. (For example: \u201cI will call you later.\u201d)<\/p>\n – In the \u201cShortcut\u201d window, type your preferred shortcut. (For example: \u201ccyl\u201d).<\/p>\n – Tap \u201cSave.\u201d<\/p>\n That\u2019s it! Now, whenever you type your shortcut in a text message or an email, the corresponding phrase will appear in a suggestion bubble below your text.
