Furthermore, people are using their versatile, feature-rich smartphone<\/span><\/span><\/a>,  for more than just talking or texting. Cell phone users, for example, are following current events on their cell phone instead of their computer, checking social media sites, streaming webcasts, and so on. Any of these activities can consume a substantial amount of data, especially when compared to a more basic task, such as occasionally checking email.<\/p>\n

To help our customers meet their increased data usage needs, I\u2019m pleased to announce that Consumer Cellular has just upgraded its entire suite of Connect! data plans<\/span><\/span><\/a>. Our entry data plan, Connect! Lite<\/strong>, jumps from 4MBs of data to 10MBs. Connect! Ready<\/strong> now gives you 50MBs, instead of just 20MBs. Connect!
