This blog marks a milestone. For the first time, we\u2019re promoting apps for two distinct smartphone types: Android and iPhone. From now on, each app discussed in this blog will include links to where you can download either the Android or iPhone app, depending upon your smartphone. Now, without further ado, here are this month\u2019s recommended apps: My Fitness Pal and Park Wildlife Field Guide.<\/p>\n

My Fitness Pal can help tilt the scale in your favor. Bar none, this free app is the fastest and easiest calorie counter. With the largest food database of any calorie counter (over 1.5 million foods) this app can help you take those extra pounds off and keep them off.<\/p>\n

Your Park Wildlife Field Guide app will answer those questions and more.
