Thanks for your reply Ashley. When I went to Target the Consumer Cellular phones were simply hanging on a rack with a lock on the rack so I could not see the phones. I thought there would be a kiosk with a person there to sell the phones but no such luck. Just thought I would pass along the information to maybe help other customers.

I purchased the Samsung S5 from ATT and am still paying on it.Would I be able to use this smartphone if I switch to Consumer Cellular?/Vivian
Great question, Vivian! In general, phones used previously with AT&T are a great fit with our SIM card. You’ll want to make sure that you have AT&T unlock it before you switch to our service, then all you will need is one of our SIM cards. We can’t guarantee that your SIM card will work until we try it, but many customers who were previously with AT&T had a seamless transition. I have been to at least 6 different Target stores in 2 states and always the same Consumer Cellular display…a pamphlet and maybe a phone locked in a box…never any phones you can view or handle. I’ve also called several Sears stores with same results.

Is there an indicator that shows when you have a voicemail? I am never aware that I have them waiting there.

When you receive a voicemail, an icon will appear at the top of your phone to let you know that you have a new message.
