Refer Family and Friends for a Special $20 Bonus

Every day, I get the pleasure of receiving calls, letters, and emails from customers who want to share how happy they are to have Consumer Cellular as their wireless provider. It goes without saying that it’s often the best part of my day!

We’re delighted that you’re satisfied, and we always reward you for telling others–normally, we offer a $10 credit when you refer family and friends who switch. But we’ve gotten so many nice comments lately that we decided to kick off the new year with something extra special: from now until February 14th, we’re doubling our referral bonus! Simply tell your family and friends what you’ve been telling us, and when they sign up to join Consumer Cellular, you’ll both receive a $20 referral credit on your next invoice!

And that’s not all: we’ll give that same credit for each and every person you refer. So, at this month’s family potluck, book club meeting, or game night, be sure to mention to everyone there that now is an excellent time to switch to our service–you (and they) will earn a $20 credit for doing so. Just think how fast that can add up!

If you prefer, you can even send custom referral emails using our website! Whichever way you choose, just be sure to remind them to sign up by February 14th to enjoy this special offer. All your family member or friend has to do is give us your cellphone number when they sign up, and you’ve both qualified for $20.

There’s no better way to find a great product or service than to hear about it from a friend. So, help everyone you know find out about the low prices and unbeatable service you get when you join Consumer Cellular. In so many ways, it truly does pay to share!

Just to let you know, I’m tired of trying to make important phone calls just to find the network is down. I fear I must find a telephone company that can do the job. This down time happens just to often for me and my bill continually climbs upward, not a good thing.

I switched to Consumer Cellular for 2 reasons. I. my old plan was expiring and I couln’t get a new phone without going to a new plan and this was a lot cheaper. 2. I needed a phone that I could connect with bluetooth because of poor hearing. Now I think I can make calls but the incoming calls still go to my old phone (with same number). Not much fun carrying around 2 phones. Contacted Consumer Cellular several days ago but no solution to problem yet.

Since we changed to consumer cellular in Nov 2017 we have been getting 5-10 scam and robo callas a day.
We are able to block on our phone system, but still a headache. Never before has this happened. Has anyone else experienced this?? Thx

    reply to Alexia

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

We’re sorry to hear that, Alexia. Robocalls are quite a nuisance. First, we recommend registering your phone number with the Do Not Call registry if you haven’t already done so. Next, we recommend downloading a call blocking app from the Google Play store. There are a variety out there that help block known scam numbers so you won’t be bothered. A good one to try is Hiya, which you can learn more about here. Of course, we’re happy to answer any other questions you may have at 888-345-5509. Thank you for posting, and we hope you have a great day!

I’m interested in a consumer Cellular Samsung Galaxy 3. Do you carry the safety glass or the back for this phone. If so how much??

    reply to JoAnn

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for asking, JoAnn! The Samsung Galaxy J3 is a great choice. We do offer a case for the device that comes complete with a car charger, but we do not offer a screen protector at this time. You can add the case at the time of your order, or we can always help you order one later at your convenience. If we can assist you with anything else at this time, please don’t hesitate to call us at 888-345-5509. We appreciate you posting today!

We have had our phones for 2 weeks. Both phones were purchased new at Target at the time we set up a plan. Neither phone will stay charged for more than 24-36 hours. We don’t have internet on them, we do not text or any other extras. The phones are Doro flip phones and were 50.00 a piece. Is this normal or is something wrong with the batteries? Thank you.

    reply to Kim

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for posting, Kim. Depending on how much you use your phone, you may find that you need to charge your phones every few days. If you like, we can discuss this with you further to make sure that your phones are working properly. Please call us at 888-345-5509 at your convenience, and we can ask you a few questions and do additional troubleshooting if needed. We appreciate you taking the time to comment, and we hope you have a great day!

  9. Mary Jo Fritz says

Have been with Consumer Cellular for several years and no problems. BUT, I have an older Doro 618 and it now “screams” in a high pitch sometimes during my calls. Does this mean something (a low battery or an incoming call) or is there a problem with the phone? Also, sometimes a friend tells me they called but it did not ring on my end. I really like this “old” phone. It was always so reliable. Thanks for your time….

    reply to Mary

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thank you for taking the time to comment, Mary Jo. If you’re hearing a loud tone during calls, this could be a call-waiting notification. If it happens, take a look at your screen. If someone else is trying to reach you on a call, you’ll see their name or phone number appear on the screen. If that is not the case, please feel free to call us at 888-345-5509. We can perform some additional troubleshooting as needed. We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us, and we hope you have a lovely day!

Where do I get a visual voicemail app for my iPhone 5s?

    reply to Doug

    • Ashley at Consumer Cellular says

Thanks for asking, Doug. You should be able to select Voicemail from the Phone app. Tap “Set Up Now”, then follow the prompts. You can find more details and the full process here. That should allow you to access your voicemails via the Visual Voicemail option. If you run into any issues, we’re happy to help you at 888-345-5509. We appreciate you posting today!
