How It Works

The process is quick and easy. Have a friend, a family member—anyone you choose—start service with us by ordering online at ConsumerCellular.com, calling us at (888) 345-5509, or going to one of our participating retail stores. When they do, they should tell us your name and cellphone number. Really, that’s all there is to it—once their service is activated, you’ll both see a $20 credit on your next invoice as our way of saying thanks.

You’ll get $20 for everyone you refer who signs up for service during this time. To help you get the word out, we’re providing a dedicated website here which lets you email your friends or print referral cards. This includes devices formerly used with AT&T or T-Mobile, for example. You can test your device with our SIM card to see if this is an option.
