How do I create a password?

To create a password or reset a forgotten password:

  1. Go to the Create Password page.
  2. We'll send you a message which you can receive by text message or email:
Text message.
  1. Enter you Consumer Cellular cell phone number, click "Send" and we'll send you a free text message with your temporary password.
  2. When you receive the password, enter it in the text box provided. Sometimes text messages are delayed due to traffic on the cellular network. If this happens, just come back to the Log In page within 24 hours and enter your Consumer Cellular cell phone number and the temporary password to complete the registration process.
  3. Confirm your identity by entering the last four digits of your social security number.
  4. Create a new password:
    • Use 8 to 10 characters and include at least one number.
    • Avoid using pet names, children's names, birthday — any predictable text.
    • Store your password in a safe location.
  5. Click "Continue."
Email.
  1. If you have a verified email address on file with Consumer Cellular, click the Email icon near the bottom of the page.
  2. Enter your email address, click "Send" and we'll send you an email that will guide you through the rest of the process.
  3. When the email arrives click the "Complete Registration" link.
  4. Confirm your identity by entering your Consumer Cellular cell phone number and the last four digits of your social security number.
  5. Create a new password:
    • Use 8 to 10 characters and include at least one number.
    • Avoid using pet names, children's names, birthday — any predictable text.
    • Store your password in a safe location.
  6. Click "Continue."

How do I log in to My Account?

To log in to your account:

  1. Click My Account in the menu.
  2. Enter you Consumer Cellular cell phone number.
  3. Enter your password.

  4. Click “Log in.”

I’ve forgotten my password, what do I do?

Where is my account number?

Your account number is located in the upper right corner of your billing statement.

What if I forgot my account number?

If you forgot your account number, contact Customer Support at 1-888-345-5509.

I didn’t receive a text message with a temporary password. What do I do?

The text message may have been delayed due to traffic on the cellular network. If you do not receive a text message within 5 minutes, call our Customer Support team at 1-888-345-5509. Alternatively, if you have a verified email address on file with Consumer Cellular you can register using email.

I don’t have text messaging on my phone. How do I get my temporary password?

Consumer Cellular will turn on text messaging for your phone long enough to send you your temporary password. There is no charge for the message or for temporarily turning on text messaging. Alternatively, if you have a verified email address on file with Consumer Cellular you can register using email.

How do I change my password?

Once you've created a password, you can change it any time:

  1. Log in to My Account with your current password.
  2. Select “Change password” in the sidebar on the right.
  3. Follow the instructions to change your password.

My line is cancelled and I can’t get into My Account. What do I do?

If your account is cancelled, call our Customer Support team at 1-888-345-5509 to re-start your account.

What can I do in My Account?
When you log in to My Account, you can:
  • Check your monthly usage.
  • Make a payment.
  • View current or past billing statements.
  • Change your plan.
  • Add or replace a phone.
  • Add or change your services, such as wireless web or messaging.
  • Change your Profile information, such as contact information, billing type, etc.
  • Change your Account Preferences, such as credit card information, etc.
  • Download content for your phone, such as ringtones, wallpaper, etc.
  • Set up Usage Alerts so you know when you are nearing your plan’s included minutes, text messages and/or wireless web usage.
