My phone's display reads "Unregistered SIM.": The SIM card is a small chip located in the back of your phone. It is responsible for providing service and registering the phone to the signal towers. We have already placed the SIM card in the phone for you.

This message “Unregistered SIM” means your phone is not properly active in the cellular system. Please call Consumer Cellular’s Customer Support team at 1-888-345-5509 and report the problem so we can correct it.
