How do I control the volume on my phone?

Every phone is different—for specific instructions on controlling the volume on your phone, download your phone’s manual from the Phone Manuals page.

To adjust the volume on your phone, you must be engaged in a call. In general, this is how it works:

1. Call our test line number 888-460-8781. This is a free call—you may use it as often as you like.
2. While engaged in the call, press the right side of the large menu pad in the middle of the keypad to raise the volume.
3. To lower the volume, press the left side of the menu pad.

How do I use the speakerphone feature?

Every phone is different—for specific instructions on using the speakerphone, download your phone’s manual from the Phone Manuals page.

To activate the speakerphone, you must be engaged in a call.

1. Call our test line number 888-460-8781. This is a free call—you may use it as often as you like.
2. While engaged in the call, look for the abbreviation “Loudsp” in the bottom right corner of the screen. Press the key just below “Loudsp” to activate the speakerphone.
3. To turn off the loud speaker, press the same button again (it should now be labeled “Normal”).

For most phones, you can easily change the ring volume:

1. Call your cell phone from another phone.
2. While your cell phone is ringing, press the right side of the large menu pad in the middle of the keypad to raise the volume.
