Affordable International Calls Consumer Cellular enables you to place affordable international long-distance calls from your cell phone.
When placing an international cell phone call, you’ll be billed cellular airtime for the minutes used based on your rate plan. In addition, there is a per-minute international toll charge (see below).
Calling from the USA - To dial from the U.S. to another country, dial 011 + the country code you are calling to + the area code + the phone number, then press the Send button.
To learn more about using your phone outside of the U.S. visit the Making Calls page in our Knowledgebase.
International rates - To display international calling rates for a country, click the first letter in the name of the country from the buttons below. These rates apply to calls placed while in the U.S. Outside of the U.S., your phone will work in parts of Canada and Mexico, but you will be charged a roaming rate. That’s why we recommend using your cellular phone outside the U.S. only in the case of an emergency.
