Tom
Startin knows more than a little something about delivering as promised. He works
as a Logistics Specialist in the Health Care Industry, playing a key role in an
increasingly important part of our lives. The father of two sons, ages 21 and 26,
Tom has been a Consumer Cellular customer for the last two years and a cell phone
user for about a decade.
“Consumer Cellular sold me a Motorola W220 phone for $25 when I started service with them nearly two years ago,” said Tom. “I accidently dropped the phone in a puddle once. I disassembled the phone and soaked it in a cup of dry white rice for a couple hours. And presto! The phone worked and still works today. It’s a keeper.”
Tom recently added a cell phone to his account for his parents. Within three minutes he was able to place and confirm the order. And a mere three days later he was holding his parents’ new phone, a Motorola W259.

How do I use the Emergency Call feature on my Doro PhoneEasy 410?
The PhoneEasy 410 emergency call feature is simple and lets you identify one emergency number. When you press the “SOS” button on the back of the PhoneEasy 410 a beep sound tells you the emergency call has been sent. Setting up the feature requires two actions: activating the feature and identifying your emergency contact number.
To activate the Emergency Call function:
- Select Menu by pressing the left soft key (white line).
- Scroll up or down until you reach Settings and press OK.
- Scroll down and select Emergency and press OK.
- Select Activation and press OK.
- Your Emergency Call function “On” button will be highlighted.
To add your Emergency Number:
- Select Menu by pressing the left soft key (white line).
- Scroll up or down until you reach Settings and press OK.
- Scroll down and select Emergency and press OK.
- Select Set number and press OK.
- Select Options. There are two ways to add an Emergency number: Phonebook and Manual.
- Select Phonebook to choose a contact number that’s already in your phone. Scroll through your phonebook, select the contact name, and press OK. When done, press Save.
- Or select Manual to add a new contact name and number. When done, press Save.

How do I pair my Bluetooth headset with my Motorola phone?
On your Bluetooth headset:
- Press and hold the power key until the power light stays on.
On your Motorola phone:
- Press Menu and scroll to select Settings.
- For the Motorola KRZR, select Connection. (For the Motorola EM330, proceed to the next step.)
- Select Bluetooth Link.
- Select Audio Devices.
- Select Look for device.
- Highlight the name of your Bluetooth device and press Select.
- Select Yes.
- Enter 0000 for your passcode and select OK.
Note: Instructions for connecting a Bluetooth device to a cell phone vary by cell phone model. For specific instructions for your phone model, please visit our Customer Support page. Under “Topics” click “Voicemail, Text Messaging, Wireless Web and Other Features.” Click “Bluetooth” and then select the appropriate answer.
Both of my aging parents have serious medical conditions, and I want to make sure they can reach me at any time. How difficult or expensive is it to add lines to my account?
It’s super easy and very affordable. For only $10.00 a month per line, you can add additional family members to any plan with included minutes. Timing is everything, of course, and the good news is we’re running a limited time special: if you add a line before December 31, you’ll get twice as many minutes as your plan would normally provide over the next three months. So now is a great time to add a line! You can make this change yourself at any time. Just log in to My Account or call our Customer Support team at 1-888-345-5509.
