Have You Met Our New Web Site?
We have a new and improved Web site that incorporates input from volunteers received during our usability testing phase. The result? An easier to use and understand Web site that provides all the information you might need about us or your service.
Our new site, for example, provides a helpful self-serve “knowledgebase” feature, where you can find and print answers to your questions. On that same page, you can open one of our Consumer Cellular how-to videos and “watch” your answer. We made accessing your account, checking your minutes, and changing your plan easier, too - making sure you’re always in control. Plus, from our new site you can view a detailed coverage map or easily process your own order.
A usability “test” is a technique used to evaluate a product’s design by testing it on actual users. Our usability participants included individuals who were comfortable with email and the Web, and who were also aware of browser settings and basic computer functions. A series of half-hour one-on-one interviews helped us to identify the most appropriate changes.

you’ve used, as well as text messaging and Wireless Web. In most cases this information
is updated hourly, but some call information may take longer to update.

Family Share Plan
We’re often asked if family members can share minutes with each other. The answer, of course, is of course. And sharing your plan with other family members couldn’t be easier.
Our simple and very affordable Family Share plan lets you share free minutes or messages across all the phones tied to your account. For only $10 a month per line, you can add additional family members to your plan. And you can make this change at any time. Just log in to My Account and change your plan or call our Customer Support team at 1-888-446-6133 for assistance.
Adding the share plan to your account is a simple process: you decide how many lines you need and pick a phone for each. That’s pretty much it. Presto chango. Before you know it, you’re sharing minutes.
And remember, if your situation changes and you no longer need to share, you can always change your plan back at anytime—without penalty or change fees. Unlike most cell phone providers that lock you into a long term contract, at Consumer Cellular we like to keep it simple and flexible. We know things happen, life changes, and we never penalize you for it. Truth be told, we like to think when you join one of our plans, you join our family as well.
